But, somebody told me that.. Panchali means the wife of five-husbands.

I thought so too when you asked. Then I researched and found she was named after her kingdom. Either way I don't mind :).

Just remember that on the internet, we're all hotties.

Cube root of pi. To the 21st digit please.

3.141592653589793238462. Is it OK?
Well, that's pi itself.

So far the best approximation I've found of the cube root of pi only goes to 9 digits, which turns out to be 1.46459189.

Wow Draupadi! You're the most clever of them all! You gave the best interview answers yet, very good play of the ping ping paddle!

So seriously, my question is if you would be kind enough to give some background on your birthplace and cultural background.

@Skwim- Oopsies. Now you and Renji figure out the rest. I HATE MATH!

@sunrise123- That's because a mouse remains a mouse no matter what it does :p. For example it doesn't turn into a tortoise if it walks slowly due to fatigue.

@Shiva Fan- Thanks. I live in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka. I come from a bourgeois family although not a materialistic one. Our culture do have a lot of similarities with the Indian and Pakistani ones. But there are also huge differences. Our staple food is rice, with fish curry. We have chapattis in the morning. We eat comparative less vegetable than the Indians. Our national clothing is sari, salwar kameez, dhuti, kurta and the infamous lungi. Of course other forms are available too from our neighbours. We have small sects of people in our country that are not Bangladeshis. They have different languages and culture. For example- chakmas, marmas, etc. The mainstream culture is yet to get hold of their societies fully, but it is happening. Although Bangladeshi culture is highly influenced by Islam, it does have some Hindu elements in it as our ancestors were Hindus in large numbers. Take for example the 'gaye holud' ceremony (where the guests apply turmeric paste to the couple's visage and arms, and occasionally henna on the hands of the bride). But we don't have the 'mehendi rasm' as like in India. This is all I know in short :).

So Bangladesh... thanks for the fun and informative information. About 3 months ago, I gave a 2 hour high tech presentation and question and answer session with Bangladeshis, it was over Webex from California to Dhaka where I was the sole speaker and the audience of my presentation was about 30 plus Banglas, all in English though with strong Bengali accents which is not a problem for me. The first 40 minutes was my PowerPoint, followed by Q&A but the last 20 minutes was a riot of jokes since I couldn't resist spinning into parody and comedy mode, yes we even got into food including chapatis. It was successful and wildly fun. Thanks again for your gems about you background, Banglas can be great fun.

Your comment about parody/comedy and chapatis reminded me that when I was in India during the late 1970's or early 1980's we were waxing philosophical about life one day. After a while we got pretty silly and said something like "life is like a heap of chapatis floating in a sea of tea". We were alluding to the lotus while at the same time inspired by the number of chapatis we had eaten over the past couple of weeks and the amount of very excellent chai we had drunk.
