Does one agree that "Paganism" being superstitious and or mythical is neither based on "Science" ( supported by Scientific Method) nor on the Word of G-d (supported by the Religious Method), please? Right?

Regards
Paganism is complimented by the scientific method. What I mean by superstition is actions and beliefs based off religion. I consider any belief in a god a superstition. Does that mean a god couldn't exist? No. But it is a superstition not necessarily false. As for myths most religions tends to have them Christianity included. I use science and my own morals to guide me. Not all religions have a book that's 100% authority. So I don't understand what you mean by religious method. I mean for Odin's sake have you looked into Hinduism the oldest religion there is? Tons of myths and there is no founder. And many religions in fact most of them dont have a single book.

I appreciate one's good thoughts in one's signature line:
  1. " I am always trying to learn.
  2. I thirst for knowledge and truth.
  3. I am constantly looking for it.
  4. I love to learn about others and how they see the world.
  5. I seek knowledge in myself.
  6. I seek to learn everything I can.
  7. Balance is key in all things."
May G-d bless one.

Regards

Why thank you
They are key values of mine and very prominent in my beliefs.
May you be blessed by your G-d as well.
Usually I don't write that word like that but seeimg as you did imma assume you believe writing out it fully will be blasphemy so imma respect your deity and write it like that when saying I hope they bless you.

Religious Method : Scientific Method
“Scientific Method” is used in Science for finding truth in the Physical and Material realms with adjustments according to the nature of the Discipline of Science and of course it is bound by its (obvious) limitations.

Religion covers the ethical, moral and spiritual aspects of the human life, which are outside the limitations of Science. The truthful Religion is not against Science. The basis of the truthful Religion are on the truthful Word of God, which makes it different from Science.

For finding truth:
  1. in different religions or
  2. among different denominations of a religion
  3. or on an issue within a religion
applying “Religious Method” is the solution, I understand.

Religious Method

It was read out with its application authored by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908 (The Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi) in the Conference of Great Religions held at Lahore in 1896 in the then British India. The lecture titled ” The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam” has since been translated in many world languages and is available online.
The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam – Wikipedia
The principle is elaborated in first two pages of it:
” It is necessary that a claim and the reasons in support of it must be set forth from a revealed book.”

Right, please?

Hmm interesting. Never heard of such. I sometimes use the scientific method. When you say word of God...seeing as many ancient and modern religions as I said have no book...i do not really agree with the view one must use a revealed book to have a religion. So no I dont use this religious method cuz I don't believe a religion has to have a revealed book to be a religion. I guess I have a different view of religion then this Mirza Ghulam Ahmad guy

There were following 5 questions under discussion in the conference being debated and discussed:

  • the physical, moral, and spiritual states of man;
  • what is the state of man after death?
  • the object of man's life and the means of its attainment;
  • the operation of the practical ordinances of the Law in this life and the next;
  • sources of Divine knowledge
Will one kindly given one's answer to these questions from one's own "paganism" religion for comparison, please. Right?

Regards

the physical, moral, and spiritual states of man
physical- all is part of Nature. Moral- morals should come from logic and science as well as ones own undrrstanding of the world. Everyone is a mix of chaos and order. Spiritual- everything has a spirit as im an animist
what is the state of man after death?
don't know. There are many afterlife most likely and possibly reincarnation
the object of man's life and the means of its attainment;
to learn knowledge and improve oneself constantly. Can attain this by being open to change
operation of the practical ordinances of the Law in this life and the next
I do t understand this
sources of Divine knowledge
Divination can lead you to divine knowledge. Also nature is divine and there's a divine spark in all people. So get in nature learn from it and from yourself.

New What kinds of rituals or rites do you practice?
I pray daily. I do some spellwork at times. I put holy water on my clothes and bless them when I wash them. I cleanse energy using sound. I bless and put spells on my stuff animals and jewelry. I've been meaning to learn holidays but they arent that important to me. I plan things sometimes according to the moon cycle and my period cycle as both periods, ovulations, and different moon phases can have effects spiritually and are sacred in their own right

I made an ask me anything in general thread recently. Now I make this one but specifically ask me anything about my religious and spiritual beliefs.
There is a 100 year old in terminal agony with a non existent quality of life.You are in the Government.You are in charge of the newly formed Ministry for Religious Affairs.The PM wants a decision. Will you allow citizens right to decide their own life/death issues?
Your verdict please.

I'm bumping this after a recent thread as I feel it may be great to bump this
One of then is very chaotic and not like a marvel movie. Causes pranks throughout the Norse myths and once had his mouth sewn shut.

The other is a deity most misunderstand. He's not evil. He is a comforting deity. Hes full of light.
I now worship two more deities so I'll describe them without names.

One is a fertility goddess. She is associated with cats and is very protective.
The other is a goddess who is fiercely independent. She is freedom.

How many holidays are there in your religion? Do you get together with like minded folks?
