Am I one of the good ones or the bad ones?
You're one of the good ones. There are very few bad ones.

That is quite respectable. I'm much the same way, unfortunately, most people don't care to discuss politics or anything that is deeper than "Oh my gawd! Did you see the jeans that girl was wearing?" People... Sometimes I don't know how I feel about people...
Yeah. It sucks, doesn't it. :( Especially because it probably won't get any better. My mom says that even as an adult, most people are still like that, and you have to search hard for anybody with any substance. :(

Yeah, it totally sucks. I've noticed that even in college, most people are still very junior high. I expected more maturity. Don't ask me why. I think I sometimes give people too much credit. And I have noticed lots of adults gossiping. It sucks that there aren't too many people who actually like to just sit around and talk about deeper things. :(

I am double majoring in Spanish and Religious Studies and working towards teacher certification in Spanish and Math. I'm on a 5 1/2 year track to graduation. :D
So did you admire that teacher who also taught Spanish...Were you one of those students who developed a crush on your teacher? I had a big crush on a teacher at one point in school...he was cute too!!!:>)

I greatly admire him. He's probably the best guy I know.

A crush? No. But, I did admire him greatly and I consider us to be friends. But I was never one to have crushes on older men, especially my teachers.

Female. I don't disclose my gender for a couple of reasons:

1) People tend not to respect a female's PoV and debating.
2) I tend to think of guys as being better debators than girls (I know, it's a horrible bias) so I don't put mine to remind me that that's not true.

I think I remember you saying that you were the only person, in your immediate family to join the church. Is that true ? If not, were you the first person in your family to join the church ?

Yes, I am the first person in my family to join the church, but hopefully not the last! :D My mom is now looking in to the church, but my dad is against it and my brother is pretty apathetic about it.

Well, I guess if you believe #2, you tend to agree with the people in #1.:bonk: Any way, you are a great debator and the cat is out of the bag now!:D

Yeah, the reasons are kind of an enigma, but for some reason it's just a bias I have, and am trying to get rid of.
