A jet plane traveling at 600 mph overtakes a propeller-driven plane that had a two hour head start. The propeller-driven plane is traveling at 200 mph. How far from the starting point does the jet overtake the propeller-driven plane?
Actually, I don't believe this works because a jet engine cannot function well at low altitudes and a propeller-driven plane cannot function well at high altitudes because of the oxygen content of the air... oh, nevermind. I'm upset you loathe mathematics, but happy you seem competent at it. Do you like physics? What about anthropology and archaeology?

Lol. You're rediculous.

ACtually, I hate physics, anthropology, AND archaeology. I'm really not a science person. Sociology is great. I think that's the only science I like.

Not...social anthropology? :D

One of my old roomies in college was in social anthropology. She spoke 7 languages fluently. Had a heck of a time passing classes in any of the languages, though.

I don't even know what social anthropology is, so... NO comment. :shifty:

What makes you laugh?
The Brits tend to make me laugh. Halcyon, Montey Python, that sort of thing.

Who makes good eye candy for you?
Hold on, I'll have to find good picture...

I can't really find any good pictures that epitomize these people for me, so you'll just have to do with the names.

Nicolas Cage, Edward Norton. That's all I can think of right now. I don't spend much time fantasizing over people like that, so it's hard to bring the names to mind.

I didn't care for sociology... What is your favorite game?
What kind of game are you looking for. I really like hide and seek games played in large, dark houses, or in small areas of a town, where you can sneak around and stuff.

When are you finally going to grace us with a picture of yourself?
After you buy me a video camera that you can capture stills from. :p

Fair enough, I reckon.

Anyhoo...I'm heading off for a couple of days.

I'm really glad you're here and hope you'll stick around so that I can bombard you with more questions on Monday. Have a beautiful weekend!

I don't have a picture of myself. I'm the only person in the united states who doesn't have a digital camera. (or a cell phone, but that's a different story)

Didn't you read the thread? My real name is Aqualung Cross-Eyed-Mary Tull. :p

Yep. :D I love that song. I like to play that song and then Cross Eyed Mary on my bass. That's a little heaven on earth for me.

The White if for Multiple Sclerosis, a disease my mom was stricken with 8 years ago.

The Blue is for Education.

The Brown is Anti-Tobacco.

The Green is for Depression, which I suspect I have.

I had to change my name, so if anybody is wondering why this "CrossEyedMary" person keeps answering all these questions, that's why.
