Since we've all come from other planets at some point or the other, the real questions are how recently you've migrated here and where you came from originally?

That's a valid question.
I believe that at some point travelers visited us, couldn't survive on earths conditions, so they did the next best thing. They fused their DNA into one species of primate.

In my sick mind, this explains much to me... So here we are eons later, questioning the validity of a higher being.... It is the DNA of this higher species in us which allows us to have these thoughts in the first place.

So what we are really trying to do is discover ourselves!
Everything seems random and chaotic until we understand it, then it becomes logical.
Does that mean it was ever random? No. All mysteries surrounding who god is can only be quashed once we work it out... Until then, all we're doing is filling in the gaps with wishful thinking.

You mean we need to believe in a higher power to avoid anarchy?
Tell that to the middle east? They all believe in a higher power...

All it does is fuel their anger towards one another.
Belief in god doesn't stop violence.
That's why we have jails and artificial laws...
Whoa,nellie....just curious as to what is going on in the "world" of the original poster. Besides, in the M.E. people believe in a higher power, they just can't agree on details in the differing doctrines of the sects they belong to. The insurgents are trying to replace the government with their own puppets. That is a revolution, more than it is anarchy.

Agree... I just cannot fathom how passionate religious people throw all their ideals out the door when someone steps on their lawn...

I'm sure in their mind they can justify murder for a human cause...
Do they not also believe that god created the people they are killing...
Do they think that god doesn't mind that they are destroying gods miracles.
For some silly reason, they believe they will be rewarded if they die for the right reasons!
