Asking for help - a Gofundme for moving.

So yeah … we’re moved. Well, 98% by now. The movers came on Friday for the furniture and the trazillions of boxes my pack rat husband had stored in the attic and downstairs closet. My stepson came also and mostly handled the boxes. He’s a big guy and gave a good account of himself. He and the movers stopped at the storage facility we’re renting to drop them off.
Of course the new apartment is crowded with boxes we’re unpacking. We’re still running back and forth to get what we couldn’t before. It may take us all this week to do, hopefully less. We still have some groceries and other household items to get. The mover is coming back to move our clothes. It’s too much for us to do. The apartment is small but we’re making do. It’s an incentive to get rid of excess stuff. I actually like the coziness.
As far as the previous landlord, we’re withholding the last two months’ rent. She had previously bribed us to move out within 30 days, saying we could withhold rent, plus she’d pay us. We would have but we had neither the money, time or place to go.
We may hear about it but I have a diatribe prepared listing out everything she’s done to lie and harass us. It starts with “Seriously? Are you Serious? After the lies and harassment…?” including a threat to file a civil lawsuit against her. That’s something that can be and is sometimes done. We have medical records from visits to our doctors for anxiety and depression. If necessary I‘ll forward a copy to both our lawyers.
As soon as we’re done I’ll inform her lawyer, and copy mine, that we’re returning the keys and officially vacated. If at all possible I don’t want any contact with her.
It’s not over yet but we’re hoping. And again, I can’t thank everyone enough for the help and support we’ve received.

Thanks, we're happy too. I haven't been waking up in a panic, that's if I did sleep. We still have a bunch of stuff to move including our clothes. It will probably take a few more days to be completely out of the old place. It's amazing what a couple can accumulate in 28 years.
