Aspergers- I feel awful

I haven't drunk alcohol in almost 11 years but one reason I stopped is people weren't socialising with me even when I did it. I don't like the loss of control.

I haven't smoked Shisha since I was 14. I'm 32 this year and I feel like crap doing it today

When I go to nightclubs I miss home because its at an awkward hour and I'm away from my family.

My father died 2017 and my grandmother died 2007. I'm very attached to my mother now.

I prefer dining out with friends

I just feel bad being away from family. I don't enjoy drinking. Shisha is OK but I'm not doing it again for health reasons.

I'm happier dining out or watching movies with friends. I love having people over though.

Sometimes I wish I didn't go to University with the drinking culture but I did meet people who thought likewise : Muslim and Chinese students. But they were lousy friends

I was thrown out of school and had to pay for my own education,I also dropped out of uni, stick with uni and find friends with similar interests, you are still young and communicating with family via messenger WhatsApp or phone is so easy now,I wish you the best of luck.

I finished University 9 years ago but my 'friends' don't keep in touch

Maybe I'm being overly simplistic here, maybe it is because I am much older than you but...

If you don't like alcohol, don't drink it, not a fan of Shisha, don't smoke it,

Don't find nightclubs comfortable, why go to them at all.

Prefer dining out with friends then do that.

Friends don't want to do that, maybe it i time for new friends....

Have you been to Hong Kong? Because the Mainlanders I know prefer dinner parties than drinking or nightclubs

Never been to Hong Kong, know several folks from Hong Kong, all seemed to be pretty interested in getting together and eating dim sum, not so much into drinking alcohol of doing any sort of drugs, Been to mainland, much the same thing, just different food. But then I am talking older folks than you are talking about.

But like I said, if your friends prefer nightclubs and drinking...it may be time to find new friends with different interests

I'm very sorry to hear this. It is a very sad world. And death is a part of life. I hope you can find happiness knowing that your loved ones love you from Heaven, Heavenly beings love you, and suffering can increase your empathy for where other people are at in their suffering and sorrow.

Countless people are experiencing the emptiness you are feeling. I honestly would much prefer death right now.

I hope and pray things get better for you. Keep your chin up! :)

It may be the nicotine talking but can't I do shisha once in a while? It's not good for you though and I only do it for the social experience.

I'm not doing it again anytime soon because I did it yesterday for the wrong reason
