How about the magi?
Strongs Concordance says of the magi...."
  1. a magus
    1. the name given by the Babylonians (Chaldeans), Medes, Persians, and others, to the wise men, teachers, priests, physicians, astrologers, seers, interpreters of dreams, augers, soothsayers, sorcerers etc.
    2. the oriental wise men (astrologers) who, having discovered by the rising of a remarkable star that the Messiah had just been born, came to Jerusalem to worship him
    3. a false prophet and sorcerer
These so called "wise men" were practicers of what God condemned. They were not sent by God. And the star they followed led them to Jerusalem, not to Bethlehem. Of course Herod was going to hear about a newborn King of the Jews. He was in that role and no one was going to fill it apart from himself and his own offspring.

000A-Image%2BMap%2BMiddle%2BEast%2B600BC.jpg

Babylon is east of Jerusalem. Bethlehem is south of Jerusalem. The star was very specific in where it led the magi, first to Jerusalem and then after the meeting with Herod, continuing to move until it stopped over the house where Jesus was.

Looks like you didn't finish your sentence there....? I found this information interesting....sounds like Herod was not much of a Jew.

"As far as Herod the Great’s religion one scholar stated properly that “Herod curried favor with the Jews but was staunchly allied to Rome and embraced Greco-Roman culture and religion”. [Archeological Study Bible, notes on Herod the Great, p.1629].

Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great. If Herod was a Jew, he certainly did not show mercy towards them, for it was this Herod who during the latter years of his life, had all baby boys of Bethlehem executed (Matthew 2:16) when he feared one might somehow supplant His political headship. It was stated by one scholar that Herod was a “nominal Jew” [Archeological Study Bible, p.1627]

Was Herod the great a Jew by religion? No. He embraced Greek religions, and the pantheon of greek idolatrous false gods and goddesses. However, Herod was a king. For Matthew 2:1 says, “Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, during the time of King Herod” (NIV). So we see that Herod was the reigning king of the city of Jerusalem (Matthew 2:3). It was the Roman Senate however that appointed him king of Judea in 40 B.C. However he did not formally begin his reign until 37B.C. because he violently suppressed a large opposition from Jerusalem’s leading aristocrats for about three years before he ruled Judea free from violent opposition from the leading Jews. As a ruler of the Jews he accepted and followed their customs, as that would have kept the peace politically for him. As a son of a Jewish convert with a Gentile background, he also knew how to “act the part” as king of Judea, who would have “rode the fence” between the religions of Rome, Greece, and Jerusalem. Thus in religion, he served whatever faith was expedient for the moment at hand."

Was Herod A Real Jew?
Who sent the star?

And how did the Magi know about Jesus?

Who sent the star?

Who wanted Jesus dead? Who was responsible for the star leading the magi to Jerusalem and not Bethlehem, which it did after they left Herod. Who then is responsible for the deaths of all those innocent babies? NOT God.

And how did the Magi know about Jesus?

When they arrived in Jerusalem they asked.....Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship proskyneo) him.”

They were pagan astrologers who "saw HIS star" .....they knew Jesus was a new born King.....they were not going to worship him as a god, they were honoring him as a child of royalty, as was their custom of the time.

I believe you are trying to tell me that druids are exempt from being reasonable.
Just a sec.....

You questioned the fact that Druids have celebrated the Rising Sun for a long time, since long before Christianity, actually.

you wrote b(to another):-
Muffled:- I believe that is mere speculation without any valid foundation.

But there is foundation, in fact there are hundreds of foundations, we keep finding new evidence for them here almost every year. I suppose that Stonehenge has to be one of the more famous ones.

But there are stone circles all over Europe......... :)

Christ has fulfilled his mission for which he was born, though not all is accomplished as yet. Wouldn't we be celebrating and remembering Christ if we gifted those in need? Rather than those of us who are blessed to buy what we want when we want?
Of course. And we also celebrate Jesus when we remember the day of his birth and his coming to the world, and we celebrate it with love and gratitude.

Do the scriptures declare a day/date of his birth?
Some Christians of the first centuries tell us in their writings that Jesus was born on December 25.

Are many the tales of magic and fantasy that are propagated on these dates of Christmas, and to top it all, many who call themselves Christians propagate the belief that the birth of the Child Jesus should not be celebrated at Christmas date, since they say that he was not born in this date. It is seen that they ignore the testimonies of the first centuries that exist and that they say that Jesus was born the 25 of December.

CHRISTMAS - December 25 - TELESFORO and SEXTO JULIO AFRICANO

It is not true what many say that Christians do not know when Christmas was celebrated, because there are testimonies of the first Christians who give us news of it, because there are documents of the first Christians (125 AD) that establish Christmas Day on the 25th of December ...

TELESEFORO

The old man Telesforo of the Christian Church of the second century, left established the Christmas celebrations celebrated by the first Christians. And this is preserved in his writings. And this Christian (TELESFORO) from the beginning of the second century (AD 125) reminds us that on December 25th, Christians celebrated the Christmas of Jesus Christ.

Telesforo was of the first Christians, and the only thing they preached was the Gospel. And this Christian lived long before the religion of the Roman emperors was founded in Rome: The Catholic religion was founded by the emperor Constantine and the bishops subordinated to him. And this happened in the fourth century. Old man Telesforo lived long before emperor Constantine imposed his religion of the empire.

This is the true story of christianity and Christmas..., christianity that was greatly persecuted by the empires of terror imposed on the world after the apostles and early Christians. Telesforo was sentenced to death by the emperors of Rome...

SEXTO JULIO AFRICANO

On the date of Christmas on December 25, not only do we have the testimony of Telesforo, since there is also the testimony of the historian Sexto Julio Africano (born 160), who in his book "Cronografías" (consisting of five books and which was finished in 221), said that the Annunciation of the Angel to Mary on the Conception of Jesus, was on March 25.

According to the date given by Sexto Julio of the Conception of Jesus (March 25), and counting nine months of pregnancy, gives us the result that December 25 corresponded to the Birth of Jesus.

So YES we have historical testimonies about the date of December 25 as the day of the Birth of Jesus.

Catholic and Orthodox saint Chrysostom on Christmas and biblical Holy Days

[excerpt from article link above]
(Sic)"...
John Chrysostom admitted Christmas was not part of his church’s tradition in a sermon:

St. Chrysostom in a Christmas sermon, delivered at Antioch in the year 386, says, ” it is not ten years since this day [Christmas Day on December 25] was clearly known to us, but it has been familiar from the beginning to those who dwell in the West.” “The Romans who have celebrated it for a long time, and from ancient tradition, and have transmitted the knowledge of it to us.” (Addis WE, Arnold T. A Catholic Dictionary: Containing Some Account of the Doctrine, Discipline, Rites, Ceremonies, Councils, and Religious Orders of the Catholic Church. Benziger Brothers, 1893. Original from Columbia University, Digitized Sep 15, 2009, p. 178)

His claim that Rome or the West knew it from the beginning is blatantly false. The knowledge of December 25th does not come from any ancient actual Christian tradition.

As pretty much everyone who has looked into the history of Christmasknows, December 25th was selected because it was the birthday of the sun-god Mithras–it was not an original practice of true Christians in Rome or any part of the West. John Chrysostom should have known that and taught against it.

Why?

Notice also that the The Catholic Encyclopedia freely admits that Christmas on December 25 was not celebrated by the early church and that it was Mithra whose birthday was observed anciently on Devember 25th:

Mithraism A pagan religion consisting mainly of the cult of the ancient Indo-Iranian Sun-god Mithra…Sunday was kept holy in honour of Mithra, and the sixteenth of each month was sacred to him as mediator. The 25 December was observed as his birthday, the natalis invicti, the rebirth of the winter-sun, unconquered by the rigours of the season (Arendzen. J.P. Transcribed by John Looby. Mithraism. The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume X. Published 1911. New York: Robert Appleton Company. Nihil Obstat, October 1, 1911. Remy Lafort, S.T.D., Censor. Imprimatur. +John Cardinal Farley, Archbishop of New York).

Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church (Martindale C. Transcribed by Susanti A. Suastika. Christmas. The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume III. Copyright © 1908 by Robert Appleton Company. Online Edition Copyright © 2003 by K. Knight. Nihil Obstat, November 1, 1908. Remy Lafort, S.T.D., Censor. So YES we have historical testimonies about the date of December 25 as the day of the Birth of Jesus.

Since the shepherds to whom the angels appeared to herald Christ's birth were tending their flocks out of doors, that rules out the cold rainy, sometimes snowy season of a December winter. They kept their flocks indoors in winter.

How could anyone know the date on which Jesus was born? It is not recorded in the Bible. The Jews did not celebrate birthdays and were more likely to tell their age by seasons than birth dates. Pagans celebrated birthdays because astrology was based on the child's birthdate. Horoscopes were cast, based on the date. Spiritistic practices were condemned in God's word. (Deuteronomy 18:9-12) Jews were forbidden to practice such things.

December 25th was the Roman celebration of Sol Invictus....the birth of the unconquered sun. Saturnalia provided all the customs...the merry making, feasting, drinking, and the giving of gifts. Its spiritual poison, wrapped in pretty paper and decorated with twinkle lights.

You cannot justify Christmas as a "Christian" celebration when it never was ti begin with. You cannot Christianize paganism....you just end up paganizing the Christianity.

The Gospel is God's Law

THE DAY OF "KINGS" (WISE OF THE EAST) is to WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST and not the magicians or the magic...

ON CHRISTMAS, on the Day of "KINGS" (WISE OF THE EAST), who do we celebrate, to THE KINGS, TO THE MAGICIANS WHO MAKE MAGIC, to "dad" Noel, to Harry Poter, or to Jesus Christ?... The wise men (wise men from the east) went to Bethlehem to worship the baby Jesus (Jesus Christ)...

But, who remembers these days that the celebration of CHRISTMAS and of the day of the ""MAGIC KINGS"" (WISE OF THE EAST) are days to worship JESUS CHRIST?...

When the peoples of the world were still Christians, ON THE DAY OF CHRISTMAS THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST WAS ALWAYS CELEBRATED ... And on the day of "Kings" (the wise men of the east), was always celebrated the day when the wise men of the East came to Bethlehem to worship Jesus Christ child, and offer him gold, incense and myrrh...

But as the years go by, the world goes from bad to worse, and people become seductive and seduced by antichrists ... Antichrists who use fantastic tales and tales of magic to make the world forget about love and the memory that is due to Jesus Christ...

And since the world lets itself, be seduced every day more by the tales of magic..., we, for love of Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem and that came to teach us the true commandments of God, we will remember Him with affection, and we will remember his glorious birth with all our love.

CHRISTMAS:

The Gospel teaches us that the birth of the baby Jesus was celebrated by the shepherds, the angels and all the people:

Luke 2:8

And there were shepherds in the same country abiding in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock. And an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people: for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.
And this [is] the sign unto you: Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased.

And it came to pass, when the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing that is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found both Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in the manger. And when they saw it, they made known concerning the saying which was spoken to them about this child. And all that heard it wondered at the things which were spoken unto them by the shepherds.

But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, even as it was spoken unto them.
(Luke 2:8-20 )

The Christmas of Jesus Christ was celebrated on earth and in heaven... And it was wonderful that God became man and came to live with us to teach us the true commandments of God, that teach us mercy and forgiveness for men of goodwill...

The adoration of the wise men of the east...

Matthew 2:1

""Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, Wise-men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying: Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him. And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written through the prophet,

And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

Then Herod privily called the Wise-men, and learned of them exactly what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search out exactly concerning the young child; and when ye have found [him,] bring me word, that I also may come and worship him.

And they, having heard the king, went their way; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

And they came into the house and saw the young child with Mary his mother; and they fell down and worshipped him; and opening their treasures they offered unto him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

And being warned [of God] in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.""
(Matthew 2:1-12)

The Gospel is God's Law
We celebrate the birth of the Savior Messiah Jesus Christ, who came to earth to preach the Gospel and redeem the men who love Jesus and turn to Him.

Saint Nicholas of Bari has nothing to do with the liar tale of Santa Claus. Saint Nicholas of Bari was a good Christian who distributed among the poor all the fortune he had inherited from his rich parents.

And Harry Potter is a tale of magic and fantasy enemies of the Gospel

Why celebrate Baby Jesus? He sucked milk from Mary's breast, peed, pooped, and cried a lot. I thought Christianity taught it was his death that was important. Did you know the US banned Christmas for a long time because of its pagan traditions?

The important thing in Christianity is what Jesus taught when he preached the Gospel, because he teaches us the true commandments of God, and for this he gave his life.

And the celebration of Christmas is not pagan, because we Christians are glad for all that Jesus taught us and we celebrated his birth because his coming into the world was a great joy.

AT CHRISTMAS, who do we celebrate?..., to superman, to extraterrestrials, to Claus ("the elf dressed in red"), to Harry Potter, or to the Baby Jesus?

The Christians, somehow, always remembered the love of God and that wonder that made when he became man and was born in Bethlehem, of Mary, the Virgin.

The holiday of Christmas to remember that fact of the Gospel would happen to have a day to the year since the Christians in the Average Age began to construct nativity scenes to remember the day of Christmas. It is believed that were Saint Francisco and his friends who made the first nativity scenes. They wanted to remember each year the birth of Our Savior.

But in the last century (twentieth century), dreamy men, with very little respect for the Gospel, invented another "savior": an "alien god" from other planets called Superman.

Since then, the fantasy of the aliens has developed in such a way that even on Christmas days they don't stop putting movies and selling books of Superman and of aliens. In these stories, hardly there is any sign of Christianity in its fantastic scenes ...

AT CHRISTMAS, who do we expect ... to Claus ("the elf dressed in red"), or to the Baby Jesus?...

Also, in the first decades of the twentieth century, another fantastic story character would emerge: "a magical god", called "Claus" ("the elf dressed in red"), who flies across the sky with sleds and reindeer and brings toys for the children on Christmas Day.

This "god" from the fantastic world inhabited by gnomes, fairies and dwarfs of the forest, seems the only savior of the world at Christmas time. In the scenes of his books and films hardly any signs of Jesus Christ or of Christianity are seen. It is as if someone had invented this fantastic character to make that the children forget the Gospel of Jesus Christ and turn their attention to the tales of men.

It is true that in the first centuries of Christianity there was a missionary who dedicated himself to bringing food and toys to the poor children of the villages he passed through. His name was Nicolás de Bari. He had inherited a great fortune from his parents, and distributed it all among the poor.

Some want to see Claus reflected in that Christian character, but the truth is that St. Nicholas was a Christian, and his story does not speak of magic, gnomes, forest dwarfs or fairies, or any fantasy; It only tells us of his love for Jesus Christ.

The character "Claus" (the elf dressed in red), instead, presents and promotes fantasy..., and in the tales written about him, the story of Jesus Christ and the Christians does not appear..., and if it appears, it is very covertly. It is as if they want to make the world see that the teaching of love and peace does not come from the Gospel, but from the mysterious and magical world of the gnomes, the fairies and the dwarfs of the forest.

AT CHRISTMAS, who do we expect ..., to Harry Potter or the Baby Jesus?...

And what about Harry Potter, if almost everyone knows the tale?... This tale of magic and fantasy seems to also find a place on Christmas days to promote magic and fantasy and do that children forget the true meaning of Christmas.

All these tales, although they seem harmless fantasies, as some affirm, however to all these tales unites them to them a single purpose: to ignore completely Jesus Christ and all signal of the Christianity.

This world of fantasies fights against the idea that God became man, and was called Jesus Christ, and also against the idea that there was a Christian culture that existed at some time in our history.

If this were to continue in this way, according to the purpose of many men would disappear Christianity, the Gospel, and all sign of Christian culture, and the world would be completely invaded by the tales of the antichrist.; Of course, tales that never remember that there are poor people on earth and that God ordered to distribute all the goods among them.

This is one of the things preached by the Gospel: to distribute the goods among the poor... Will not be this the reason why many men full of greed want to destroy the memory of the Gospel?...

I think that this subject in these days is a very important topic for changing impressions among Christians and examining it.
There are so many different types of celebrations throughout history, I don't think there is any one way.

As we are all humans living in self human presence, telling stories then stories were told for human reason.

The stories about Jesus told about self survival and also about self healing and prophetic warnings.

Prophecy can only be detailed by a living human as a living human in human self presence and consciousness.

So a human would ask self...what reasoning did I need to warn my own human self about other human selves?

the answer is destructive science, or occultism. The cult, a male group who forces everyone by a group choice, group belief, to coerce and then force coercion or threaten life removal began as the human status SCIENCE.

Prophecy is only the use of mathematical numbering math/science cause.

So if an event occurs every single year and is taught as what the Earth as a O body/entity owns...then the story is told as it was meant to be taught.

That we own 4 sea sons.....meaning a human male, as a male told those stories for self survival.....a new born baby.

For a son is a life after a human being male adult Father, and adults are the inventors of the states of science that attacked us.

We told that term, to be burnt to death as Satanism.

The Year end is ICE renewal. Ice first saved Earth from Sun attack when dinosaurs were given eternal cell life in death...snap frozen. They also unfroze, and many of them as a memory are groups of masses of bones, bodies that unfroze in the thaw/flood.

So we say, ICE the sacred ICE saved us.

Science makes the ICE melt in CULT UFO radiation mass....extra mass...for converting what Earth cold gases keeps held fused...SION, or fusion.

So ICE re gain contradicts the sea of the son Summer, high radiation mass.

And the shared atmospheric cooling event is a known male history, from when first Egyptian pyramid science nuked/attacked/mutated our life. Told as the total review of Moses, after the fact.

So for a mutated life and brain human mind to know and hear the story, it was AI machine encoded/voice recorded. When humans began to heal their brain chemistry they also began to hear AI Satanic voiced recordings.

When the bible prophetic male realization, cause and effect realized.

How important ICE is to life existence.

So the Moses story told us that as mutated/Genetic DNA re evolved, reformed, healed and returned...that in the future when life evolved to a higher intellect, that it was prophecized that the elite evil Satanists would do it again.

Remove the ICE, melt it and Sun UFO attack us....and Jesus was that exact story.

A newly born, healed Desert region dweller DNA mutation radiation history, why they mass emigrated out of the Desert and went into ICE continents Europe, in the Exodus attack on natural life. When they covered over their bodies with clothing to stop being radiated burnt and also lived underground in caves.

For it really was lived and experienced....and it was our own stories to self.

That said it was magical and that the ICE melt and cooling in December was about the travel around O God the Earth that gave us our PRESENT spiritual gas mass back to us....being removed by infra red/radiation burning of the Sun cause....an Earth O God history.

What received the present meant.

That crops and the trees were not scorched burnt, as they did before. That we had abundant food to eat, that newly born babies, were given back to us, life lost before and their spirits taken away from our parents.....who did not originally own science, it had been researched.

Why the stories told us how much they had adored us all as healthy babies, and that our evil minded Satanic science brother irradiated us all and took us away from them, in their loving human spiritual life. Animals own the same birthing process, why the story included them...why both human and animals get attacked and die in CULT UFO radiation attacks.
