Not all slaves are/were black and I find the amount of faith in general throughout all communities to be amazing.

Agreed, jerks have made slaves out of all types through out history, the American slave trade is just the most recent, closest to home form of the despicable practice.

We also had the military draft....a sort of gender based heterosexual time share approach.
It could be called "slave lite".
