Atheism is a RELIGION

wandering peacefully

Which way to the woods?
LOL Okay, thanks for demonstrating that you are simply INCAPABLE of having a balanced conversation. One VERY basic question and you sadly avoided it. My request for a simple YES or NO is apparently beyond your abilities. So sad.

Clearly you just want to blow endless hot air but are too afraid to actually engage in a discussion. Not sure why you're wasting everyone's time by making these OPs in the first place.

He is trying to add validity to the critical thinking belongs to atheists hypothesis.

Yes you most certainly have done this all through this thread.
Are you trolling?

I think this video title "Science Delusion" is much more interesting criticism of atheism as a type of belief system bordering on a dogma similar to a religion:

Your life itself is "MAGICAL FAIRIES"... how can you prove your own existence?

If you cannot prove your own existence, then what gives you the right to condemn their gods and religions?
Why would anyone want to prove their own existence? I mean, who do we a want to kid?

That's just as equally absurd as an atheist telling a theist they too are an atheist, just with one less god (or however they word it).

Better than non-atheism as a description?
No, it's that non-theism is term to describe positions not described by atheism or theism, which would include complete and pure ignorance of the subject (i.e. having no awareness of any sort of god concept), as well as those apathetic towards the atheist/theist dichotomy and positions.

Since atheist means "without belief in God," a Christian, for example, is certainly an atheist when it comes to Shiva. And even if you insist atheist means, "actively believing that God does not exist," I'd still say that means a Christian is an atheist with regards to Shiva, since most Christians would claim that they believe that Shiva does not exist.

Nobody is born atheist or theist. Non-theism is a better description for a default position.

So a person is not lacking belief in God when they are born, they are just lacking a belief in God?

Conclusion

People who never heard the word God can be said to be "not believers" AND "not unbelievers"

The moment you hear the word God AND your mind starts working (judging and stuff)

That moment you are hooked into: a)I believe + b)I believe NOT

Both fall under "belief" until proven a fact, then belief is gone

So indeed Atheism falls under "belief"

For being a delusion, science works pretty well. I can even see that guy speaking on video from the other side of the world.

I wonder whether he could have done the same with prayers only.

And science produced the human mind which produced scientists?

Can you prove all these or living your life with magical fairies?

ELSE, what then gives you the right to condemn their gods, religions and their way of life?

What makes an Atheist SUPREME than religious people?

That sound very religious to me.

Therefore: Atheism is a religion with 320,000,000 Gods.
This argument doesn't seem to make sense.

Can you please boil your argument down to a set of premises that demonstrate sufficiency and necessity?

Atheism not rooted in science, logic, philosophy, facts and based on the hasty generalization that there is no Truth in gods and religions. This is dogmatism, and it is RELIGIOUS. Different brands, but same product.

Instead, atheism is rooted in the fact that religious claims are found unconvincing.

That's it.
But whatever makes you sleep at night.

If you feel more zen if you get to call an atheist "religious", then go for it.
You'll be wrong off course, but then again, you're likely wrong about a great many things.

Already did:

atheism. n. disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.

Conclusion

1. It is a religious claim, and not rooted in science, logic, philosophy etc.
2. The claim for belief in God (The Dawkin's Scale *)
3. The claim for disbelief in God
4. The claim for without belief in God
5. It is Hasty Generalization (Religion) and Dogmatism/Devotion/Faith.

That is a Religion.

Not believing a claim, is not a claim.

Atheism merely "branding" themselves as not a religion.. but that does not change the fact that Atheism is a Religion. The official definition of Atheism has nothing to do with Truth or Fact, but Belief. It is a belief system.

Not believing something, is not a belief.
