Must I retype the thread?I have yet to see a functional argument against it yet.
Well, it does make sense. Atheists, after all, don't believe in god, so to them it is nothing more than a construct. You might think that is a better definition but I find it practically incomprehensible.
It's not often we need to create superfluous categories to justify our illogic. Can anyone think of another category besides implicit atheism that is superfluous?
Well, it does make sense. Atheists, after all, don't believe in god, so to them it is nothing more than a construct.
To have a construct? I suppose it is. We believe or disbelieve in things.but is it a default position?
Okay. You do that.I say we go back to God...whatever declaration we have made.....will be dealt with.
Belief must be considered BEFORE the declaration. To have a construct? I suppose it is. We believe or disbelieve in things.
.
Before what declaration?Belief must be considered BEFORE the declaration.
otherwise the speaker is parroting what he has heard.
before declaring there is no god....Before what declaration?
Colors maybe? Can anyone think of another category besides implicit atheism that is superfluous?
But also before the declaration that there is a god.before declaring there is no god....
If atheism was truly a default position.....belief in God would likely be the odd man out.
But what about the much beleaguered non-black?Colors maybe?
There's only white or black or non-white.
That is identical with white, while non-white and black and passive and active respectively of the same thing that is not the same thibg, except when I say otherwise. But what about the much beleaguered non-black?
No, it's just non-black. Non-an absence of every other colour. That is identical with white, while non-white and black and passive and active respectively of the same thing that is not the same thibg, except when I say otherwise.
Or how about politics: You are either Republican or Arepublican, with Democrat being "Hard" Arepublican, and everything else being "Soft" Arepublican. That is identical with white, while non-white and black and passive and active respectively of the same thing that is not the same thibg, except when I say otherwise.
Point made, because one can take a step back and not be political.Or how about politics: You are either Republican or Arepublican, with Democrat being "Hard" Arepublican, and everything else being "Soft" Arepublican.
At least in American Politics.
Lol. I'm getting a bit too inebriated to follow. I'll respond with a true colorful response tomorrow. :bNo, it's just non-black. Non-an absence of every other colour.
That white is every other colour combined is a coincidence. And darned skillful.
As long as, even inebriated, you allow that negations don't make for elimination, your responses will always be acceptable.Lol. I'm getting a bit too inebriated to follow. I'll respond with a true colorful response tomorrow. :b
Theist comes to mind....Can anyone think of another category besides implicit atheism that is superfluous?
