Atheists are Nihilists, and if so, they are not true. Nihilism is defined by F. Nietzsche as the phrase "Truth does not exist, because God is dead." Nihilism is wrong because it denies the truth. And if this is so, then God has been proved quite scientifically. So?

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

You haven't demonstrated your first assumption, that atheists are nihilists.

Is a non belief in God proof of being atheists being not true?
It is a form of belief, just that they do not believe a deity called God exist.

Is it wrong of atheists to say believers are not true because the atheists them self do not believe in a God, so believers must be false people?

Why does it matter to you what atheists are?

What is your endgame in your campaign to smear atheism?

Please show where Nietze defines nihilism this way.
Thanks.

Before babbling about "truth" you might wish to focus a bit on coherency. Meanwhile, since you seem to appreciate such gobbledegook, how about ...

Not all atheists are nihilists, therefore @questfortruth is not true, and, if so, God has been disproved quite scientifically. So?
See how easy that was? Who would have thought that, after millennia of philosophical discourse by some of the most brilliant minds on record, God would be so childishly easy to prove or disprove -- "quite scientifically" of course. :D

I think you need to change your username to questforconfirmation, given that truth seems to elude you so often.

You know how some dudes get, like, really upset by the gays and can't stop talking about how awful and gross and sinful and what a threat to humanity we are? And then those dudes uuuuuusually end up liking dick?

I'm starting to think this may be the atheist version...

So I'm an atheist that also happens to be a nihilist but I don't think a atheist has to be a nihilist.
Nihilism to me simply means there is no external power that provides an absolute truth for us. This leaves a person free to determine for themselves what is true.
I also see truth as temporal. What is truth is the universe/reality. The universe is in a constant state of change and therefore so is truth in a constant state of change.

The universe is in a constant state of change and therefore so is truth in a constant state of change.
What if the nature of truth is to change eternally and it does so, therefore, it is no change. It is true to its nature.

Atheists are generally not nihilist. Atheist do not think about God unless they are discussing religion. God has no part to play in their scheme of things. I am a strong atheist but I am not a nihilist. After all, something exists (for me, physical energy) at the back of appearances of all things. Don't talk about science which you do not know and do not understand. Leave that for us.

That's fine. I don't think this truth, that being the existent universe, provides a foundation for morality.
Or maybe it does in the sense that the choices we made were the choices we had to make.

It's rather sad to see how terribly threatened you are by people who don't happen to believe what you do.
