So God doesn't mind if you don't pray to him? God doesn't mind if you are gay, work on the sabbath, etc.
I hope not. I rarely pray, I'm gay and I work on Sabbath.

To me righteous means everything I dislike.
It certainly means 'holy' but it also conveys a person who is a little too sure about their convictions.
I wouldn't expect to encounter a righteous person in a sweaty night club or at a punk rock gig.
I would not call myself righteous
What does 'unrighteous' mean here? Who makes the team?
Not till the old rascal answered a LOT of questions ─ along the lines of, Why didn't you say? Why didn't you do?
And, You created sexuality ─ what's with the homophobia?
And your divorce from Asherah, what's the story?
And was there really an historical Jesus? Really? How was the Y-chromosome bit done?
Not before telling God what I really think about Him.
Maybe but Righteousness is not a phrase I associate with myselfKing David was called righteous and he killed a man so he could boink the poor guy's wife. Even though he had numerous wives already. I don't think he was too sure about his convictions and I could see him at a sweaty night club or punk rock gig.
I think you are mistaking righteousness with self righteousness.
Not at all.Sarcasm?
According to my understanding of the Bible, believers are judged in this life, so judgement day isn't for them. Judgement day is also not for the unbelievers because they are, like Christians, judged in this lifetime. Judgement day is a period of time when the unrighteous are resurrected in order to present them, having not been introduced to the good news of the kingdom, to then make an informed decision. But what if you, an unbeliever, was resurrected to judgement day and it was obvious that God did exist. Would you change your position?
Why do we need to die first, before we can learn the truth, or change our position? After death, our position would become irrelevant and academic? I could promise anyone anything, if payment can only be claimed after death. Even the best con men wouldn't try this hustle.
This is the thing that puzzles me. Many say they believe in God. They say that and it's fine, but the demons know and yet shudder. It begs the question what does it mean to believe in God? Jesus gave an illustration that the religious couldn't get but the children could. A father gives commands to two of his sons, one says he won't follow the commands but he does, the other says he will follow them but he doesn't. Which did the will of his father?
Atheists have this independent sort of perspective that presents God as a childish narcissistic ego maniac who gets something out of people worshiping him. It's not for his benefit.
I'm under no illusion that such a being could not be flawed, prejudicial or cruel. And if having sex with the member of the same sex is enough for punishment then it's not a being I want to hang out with.
Might doesn't make right. Age doesn't make wisdom. And power doesn't make purpose.
Not at all.
If I were resurrected and the existence of God were obvious, then I would change my mind.
Who wouldn’t?

Nope not at all, whether it be unbelievers or believers, all shall stand before the Judgement seat of Christ Jesus. As it is written,
Romans 14:10.
To be judge accordingly to what people have done in the body of flesh and blood, Whether it be unbelievers or believers, all shall stand before the judgement seat of Christ Jesus, that everyone may receive the things they done in his body, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10.
And then after the thousand years have expired, Then shall all stand before God the Father at his Great White Throne judgement seat, to be judge accordingly to what they have done in the spirit.
Revelation 20:11-12.
This is why Christ Jesus said, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"
Matthew 10:28.
This all takes place at God's Great White Throne judgement, This being that time Christ Jesus spoke of in Matthew 10:28 that God shall destroy both body and soul in hell. This being the Great White Throne judgement of God's.Whether they are unbelievers or believers all shall stand before God's Great White Throne judgement.

Not a credible scenario with no evidence to support it, the Bible is not evidence.
Hard to disagree when we assume so much.. But what if you, an unbeliever, was resurrected to judgement day and it was obvious that God did exist. Would you change your position?
I don't get it. What's unrighteous about not having heard of something?Like I said in the OP, Acts of the apostles 24:15 is actually in reference to those who haven't heard of Jehovah, his plan, his promise, his Word, his son etc.
And I continue not to get it. Why aren't the answers to those questions available now, to anyone and everyone? If you took a show on the road and it was as badly organized, with as poor communications and confusion of messages, as this one, you'd be out of business and into bankruptcy before you could blink.Well, you would have 1,000 years to learn the answers to those questions. Even, I suppose, the stupid, childish and spiteful ones. That's sort of the point I think most are missing.
Doesn't it sound suspicious to you that it's all going to be so easy, but not yet? Doesn't it remind you of Jesus' promise in all three synoptics to establish the Kingdom within the lifetime of some of his audience, and now he's running dang near 2,000 years late? Doesn't it remind you of promises, promises?1,000 years without sickness, disease, death, pollution, crime, natural disasters, hunger etc. and then you can **** it all and go out with a bang with Satan.
I'm glad we got round to assessing our lives while we still have them. That's the only chance I know of to assess our lives. But that's why the invitation to this "judgement day" isn't really extended to you and I. We've already judged ourselves in this life. It's just a hypothetical.
Myriads of people. Many, many people.
Maybe not to you, but for Christians the Bible is all the evidence we need.
