I'll be spending about $1000, almost all of it given to charities that help folks in other countries obtain low interest small loans for businesses. I'm giving the money I've saved from payments skipped (with permission from the lenders) in December.

I never considered the status of virgin birth when planning my Xmas spending, but it will be as little as possible.

My health care insurance comes from Mrs Revolt's employer. No worries there....til she retires. (Unlike the gov

I did get accepted to a community health clinic so I have a doctor, psychologist and a psychiatric nurse. Since I'm broke as hell, I get my health care and meds for free. It took years for me to get into a program like that. Access to health care is a sick joke in Ohio.

None. Materialistic giving doesn't matter to me or my loved ones. There are a multitude of other ways to demonstrate care.

No. I may be exempt by virtue of my virtually non-existent income and age. I live below the poverty line despite my educational background.

Not an atheist, but while I buy people presents if I see something somebody might like, I find the idea of doing it just once a year senseless. In fact, having bought my friend a 12 dollar Creeper doll, I'm starting of having a much better sense of this senselessness.

Having recently bought 3 video games for myself, a fishing pole for my dad, a bunch of clothes for my sister (wrapped in a box for Wii U because I'm an **********, don't worry there's a gift card in there too), and a griddle for my mom, my mom was furious, the fact that I bought 3 video games and the past week she's been asking me to fill out a Christmas list. Not to be a negative nancy, but if I want something I sort of prefer to buy it myself, because if I want it then I have no intentions of waiting, and no expectations of somebody else buying it for me.

I give my family modest gifts in the form of edible treats. Christmas is a secular celebration in my family.

It's a tad funny that atheists should be criticized for celebrating Christmas when Christmas didn't originate as a Christian holiday to begin with. The notion that Jesus was born the 25th was just grafted onto Christianity to make it more palatable to pagans.

In Scandinavian countries we still call it Yule (Jul).

I don't actually celebrate christimas. I give gifts and such but mainly just as a seasonal thing. We don't celebrate anything religious in it. Though I think its going to be around 300 dollars. I spend a lot of money recently getting some things we needed due to emergencies so that cut most of the money out.


And my work already provides my health insurance and they arne't making any changes.

Yes, seeing as the cost for me to have insurance went down drastically.
