Atheists questioning their Atheism?

Does this ever happen? I notice Atheists like to push Theists to question Theism, or even sometimes accuse Theists of not questioning enough because we didn't arrive at Atheism. Now I ask this. Do Atheists ever question their Atheism?

There isn't much to question, but atheists I know generally discuss & challenge it.
So far, no good alternative other than agnosticism has turned up.

Agnosticism is logical only if you don't have certain knowledge of something. I am Agnostic in some regards, but not so in others. If you have personal experiences proving god to you, you can't say you have no certain knowledge of it's existence. Maybe of it's attributes, yes.

I think we're all Agnostic to an extent. Some more then others.

I am not to good with definitions of isms, but to be atheism means lack of belief in God/deities.

By that definition I consider myself an atheist.

So I guess you are asking if I ever question my lack of belif in God/deities.
Well I often consider if that lack of belif makes sense, and so far I have always come to the conclusion that it does.

I think this means that yes, I question my Atheism

Sure.

I spent several years exploring every religious belief that I thought might have a hope of attracting me. None of them took.

Isn’t questioning theism and questioning atheism the same thing? If the questions are honest questions I think it is the same thing. If Atheists are asking honest questions about theism then they are questioning their atheism.

Nope....At least not me. I was born Atheist and can see no reason to question what is natural.

Yes, but is questioning ever how some Atheists may find their way back to Theism? I've seen a few cases of this being so.

I supposed it could if one had "faith" to begin with. I never did so I don't understand what would make a person do that. I would respect their position to be a theist....but not in a Kirk Cameron (douchey!!) sort of way....

The beauty of atheism. is that while religious people question the existence of their God every day. the atheist is bold enough to live without a god.

This is the kind of man that a god will take notice of. even if to aim a thunderbolt at.

I would like to know what type of experience someone would have to have to go from atheist to theist. I would imagine it would have to be quite a moving personal experience. I've never heard of that happening personally, not to say it doesn't tho.

Do I ever question my disbelief in a god? Well, is this basically the same question as, "what if I'm wrong?"
