Athiesm and disproving God

When you know the lord, you know the answer
Or reversed. :)

Not in a true sense he is not... a mere reflection. God is in a true sense, a pure sense, so he is not absurd. I am surprised you said that. I thought you believed. We are not created in the source but the image.
I believe. I believe in a God who is everything, really Everything and Nothing (if there is such a thing). All things. You, me, my dogs, family, plants outside, house, Sun, Moon, all of it, is all God. So I believe. And as such, if I'm as a man is absurd, God becomes absurd as well. I don't believe in a separate God who lives, exists as an entity outside of our reality. I believe the reality we have is the true reflection of what is true, not a false reflection of something that is not here. We are the source and the image, both.

Ok. But I don't know what that means relative to my arguments. If you receive the spirit of God, you know he exists. That is a given.
I supposedly "received" the spirit when I was 11-12 years old, and spoke in tongues. I can still do it, however I don't believe the explanation is some magical supernatural spirit possessing me, but rather that it's a matter of unlocking abilities in our mind. The way I know God to exist is not by that I received a spirit, but by realizing that the whole existence is one unit, under which we are contributing and acting parts, and therefore "ye are gods" comes true.

I have answered this umpteen times. But I like how you try and bring the metaphysical world into the physical. It is something that a lot of atheist do. It's like asking to see the invisible man.. haha.

So you have nothing other than your bold empty claims, got it.

Care to give us an answer as to where everything comes from, other than I don't know and I don't understand, but whatever it is, it isn't that... haha
I would ask you still YET AGAIN to stop trying to put words in my mouth.
Your repeated lying and dishonesty is most revealing.

Arrogance isn't a negative quality if you are right. Arrogance is only negative if you are sure of yourself and you are wrong. Typically in an argument where no one has an absolute answer we are reduced to an even playing field where we all may think we are right but to assert that ahead or above another without sufficenet evidence is arrogance. Most religions are arrogant. Any religion that says "I am the only way" or "I am the best way" would have to be arrogant by default. It doesn't necessarily mean that the followers are arrogant (but often it is the case). I didn't mean to bring any personal involvement with the term. As a person you may be very humble but your belief is an arrogant one.
Ok. But I have to disagree.... because it happens to be right.. haha. I should not want to call the lord a liar.... though perhaps me a fool.

This is oft said here on RF lately, but no one has yet answered my challenge to show that it was typical of atheistic scientists in general, nor have they shown that theistic scientists didn't also reject the Big Bang model.

Note: The controversy of the possibility of black holes goes back to the 18th century. Philosopher John Michell (in 1783) & mathematician PS Laplace (in 1796) predicted them. I'll wager Prophet's left hand that believers & atheists alike were among the disbelievers.
From my general studies, I find that most atheist scientists did not like the BB as it meant the universe had a beginning as per the Bible.

Ok no problem. But if everything is God, then do you not think that there is one part of that ''everything'' which is the highest?

Again this is where I take issue. You wouldn't be able to know if it was "more" or "less" right than a Muslim who believes Allah used Muhammad. But this is getting into subjective situations.

The only other problem (and I don't want this to be an anti-Christianity post by any means) I have with some of the Judeo based religions is that there is a tendency to say "we are the only ones and if you believe other religions you go to hell".

This is a contradiction to me. Lets take you for example. Do you feel that the Christian god would damn you to hell if you apostatize from Christianity and join Islam? If so why? If they are all different "slices" of the same pie.

I can tell because of the evidence if I were to go through it. long story.

Hell is another long story... haha. All of us have one part or the other that goes either to the grave or is burned off in the fire of God. That is how unclean things are dealt with. This cyclic and is how all life begins again... many worlds/universes/consciousnesses.

If we though of redeemed life as on a scale of 1 to 10, then the object is to get to the one, which is nearest to the 0. The 0 is the seed. At one time 0 was not in the scale of numbers and therefore was hidden., much like the seed. The seed is the Mashiyach (Christ).
There are then many Gods, reflections of the One God, the Source, and thus we answer within our own Realm. This is infinite in size as the aspects of us our reflecting as they do the consciousness of God. It is good to be closest to the Source as possible, as that gives off the most light, the most true light. That is how we see.
Anyone born will die and then live again, not that they will be aware of it as they are not what they were. It is what is inside that counts. So the question you asked is not a question that fits. We all answer. Paul tells us that we are not innocent.... strange when we are supposed to be. But there is the flesh and the soul.... and it is the salvation of the soul that counts. There are also many levels of that. Now I don't know if that answers it or not, but it is not a question that sits in my theology.

The highest part is what we would call God... as for the way, that is the Saviour.
The highest part is in all directions and everywhere. Everything is the highest part. There's no part that is separate and higher that all things that are.

A God that is "higher" but separate is trumped by a God that is both high but not separate.

Think about it. A God who is separate, outside of this universe, is one thing. But a God who is both outside, separate, and included within this universe, is a greater thing. 1 apple or 1 orange is just either or, and neither is greater, but 1 apple AND 1 orange is more than either one separate.

And the true savior in every situation and your life is always... you.

---edit

Another thing to think of, let's go back to the apple. Which part of the apple is the highest? The seeds that bring new life? Or the core that protects the seeds? Or the meat that is juice and delicious? Or the skin the protects the whole apple? Or the branch on which it grows? Which one is highest? If you have an answer, it will tell me more about you than anything about the apple.

Hmmmm....sounds apocryphal. If you want to argue that atheistic scientists can be as wedded to an outlook as believers, this strikes me as pretty obvious even without making unverifiable claims about their historical dissing of the Big Bang. If the scientist is human, he/she will be subject to prejudices. Besides, the Big Bang is generally considered no threat to atheism. Moreover, there's been Xian opposition to it even recently.

I would like to run through it in another thread if you don't mind.

So do you or do you not believe in a place where your soul will end up if you are sinful?

Ignore if you like... the answer has been given.
I am not ignoring anything.
I am merely calling a spade a spade.

You offer up nothing but bold empty claims to support your bold empty claims.

Make it clear what your stance is.
My stance is really simple:
I do not know
and
You have not given enough support for your claims.

You said you are not saying there is no God, you said you also don't know.
yet you keep saying I am claiming god did not do it, nature did...
Two lies back to back

How have I lied. Please give the answer once you have finished with the sarcasm
your saying I claimed "luck and magic"
Your saying I claimed "god did not do it"

I can go on
