Athiest theories?

I am at a loss for words...

You know nothing about big bang theory. Just the little fliers they write dumbed down for people who do not have any scientific background, which of course do not have the whole theory in them.
"Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe"
This is right in a way... there was a point of singularity, at this point time did not exist. Time came into existance when the big bang happened.
Forget it, I'll quote from your site (which you apparently did not read at all)
Another misconception is that we tend to image the singularity as a little fireball appearing somewhere in space. According to the many experts however, space didn't exist prior to the Big Bang. Back in the late '60s and early '70s, when men first walked upon the moon, "three British astrophysicists, Steven Hawking, George Ellis, and Roger Penrose turned their attention to the Theory of Relativity and its implications regarding our notions of time. In 1968 and 1970, they published papers in which they extended Einstein's Theory of General Relativity to include measurements of time and space.1, 2 According to their calculations, time and space had a finite beginning that corresponded to the origin of matter and energy."3 The singularity didn't appear in space; rather, space began inside of the singularity. Prior to the singularity, nothing existed, not space, time, matter, or energy - nothing. So where and in what did the singularity appear if not in space? We don't know. We don't know where it came from, why it's here, or even where it is. All we really know is that we are inside of it and at one time it didn't exist and neither did we.
Remember, that is from the site you gave...

I hate to break it to you, but you my friend, just commented on the post i made, but had nothing to say in rebuttal. Even on that piece of the site you quoted, there consisted of a bunch of I don't knows. The point I am trying to make is that how can something be made from nothing? Answer me that and I will shut up. Becuse once you answer that, then it will all be logical to me, and I will become an atheist.

Please put any debates in the thread mentioned above. They are not appropriate to the discussion section. If you would like me to try to move your posts, I will do so happily, or you can cut and paste your post and carry it to the other section.

The Big Bang was not created from nothing - at least that is the current theory. Strings, the smallest essential piece of matter, is the center of M-Theory. Multiple dimensions is another part of the theory. For all we know, strings have been around forever and formed into membranes (or branes, in the new jargon). The collision of branes is what caused the Big Bang.

Now how does this relate to God as the singularity? Well it's not a singularity any longer and in fact may be just one of several "Bangs" that produce parallel universes. If the "God of the gaps" was the author of the Big Bang, then he would now become a string-maker (if the trend to label God as "first cause" continues). But there need not be a first cause with strings.

I would like to know some of the theories athiests use to disprove the theory that there is a God. If you could post info or give me a good site I would be grateful. :)
Have a look at "God debate" I, and others, have provided many theories, and tried to prove them.
