Yeah, my fingers don't work well on either hand. So I often end up having to grip the lid with my teeth.
It messes up the drinking and pouring experience too. It's just overall a badly designed product.

It's another greenwashing example. This isn't going to help recycling at all, especially when most plastic is not recycled anyway as recycled plastic has such inferior quality.

Have seen pop cap tops littered all over the place, though. That's what this is designed to prevent, probably.

People, like me, just wrench them off either way. The littering here makes bottle caps look positively tidy. London is a mighty dump. There are much bigger issues that need addressing re this kind of pollution.

The lid gets in the way.
I agree. This happens to me with my water bottles on occasion due to a manufacturing defect. I twist them off. If they want to attach lids, they should be using a lanyard or a rope.
