Authentic Self

How does one go about crafting and living as their authentic Self? How did you get in touch with it?

How does one strengthen their sense of 'Self'? What it is that defines you, and makes you, you?

"Being your true authentic self means what you say in life aligns with what your actions. Your authentic self goes beyond what you do for a living, what possessions you own, or who you are to someone (mom, brother, girlfriend)...

Keep in mind, your authentic self is completely different from what our society encourages these days, which is leading with your best self."

I think to be authentic self means not to pretend you're something that you're actually not.
You are who you are and you don't flatter anyone.

Bridging the Gap Between Believers and Skeptics
The only time which I am not myself is when I am in dasein.

By this, I mean, something changes inside of me, but the rest of me hasn't caught up to that change. I had to switch psych medications recently, and upon investigating my own faith I came to a point where I couldn't call myself a unitarian anymore.

I was in dasein for a few hours/days and then I connected the dots together and now my theology is trinitarian pantheist. The trinity being The Omniverse/Ultimate Nature/Being, Entropy, and Extropy. And I can relate all three so well with Christianity that I'm wondering if in the near future I will to "Christianize" my belief system.

Currently I'm still science-friendly, believing in change in a very scientific way, in what I consider "gnostic syntheist" type system. But I want a community and I don't want to argue with people at my local churches either. Well, usually, I just shut up, ask questions and let them do all the talking.

I'm not really fully there yet when it comes to being in dasein again. I've already had the "Christianized" syntheist epiphany partially before but without the dasein part I am really just caught in this limbo and well, I still value science and want to continue to value it.

But simple answer: I am authentic when I'm not in dasein, and when I am I grow and evolve as a person, as well do my beliefs. But I can't stand being in dasein, it makes me feel uncomfortable.

I may need to consul with my Christian friends because I feel as if another dasein is coming, and I need their guidance as to how to direct that correctly.

realizing that you can take off one mask and put on another isn't that hard.

22. Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the (Father's) kingdom."

They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) kingdom as babies?"

Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."

Basically don't give a crap about what anyone else thinks.

Kind of problematic for politicians seeking votes.

I just look around, universe, stars, planets, moons, clouds, trees , wildlife, plants, stones,...and that is the real you.

So I have no actual need to find or search for an authentic self.

Do you know how to address any topic without relating it to Christianity/Jesus? Or is that a default?

Is that your authentic Self?

Because idk if I've ever seen "your" words here.

Only what you post about Jesus/Xianity.

Sure, but that's pretty hard to express to others, no?

How do you display this authenticity outwardly? Or do you?
I regard my entire existence as an aggregate that forms and then falls apart, but is never really gone.

How I go about it is noting every atom that makes up my being, has been in countless places, countless forms, and is essentially ageless. Interconnected and never actually separate as there is always a relationship that exists no matter what happens to the body and mind. The authentic self is that inseparable nature.

The authentic self is that inseparable nature.

I absolutely understand that, and agree.

But 'who' are you to others? We are all inextricably linked in ways people rarely understand.

But we all have a divine spark of creative originality that we can bring out as a reflection of this inner world.

I try to be myself. But it's hard when you were taught growing up not to be yourself and who you are as a person is wrong.

Im still figuring out the answers to your questions
