Finally, the 300 year old is to be decided tomorrow by the five-judge Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court.

India is under maximum security alert to safeguard life and property of the people. Administration has taken every possible step necessary to maintain peace whatever the judgment may be. Unfortunately, this judgment may have repercussions in Kashmir, Pakistan and Bangladesh also.

It is the birthplace of Lord Rama. It should be seen as such.

Would you be willing to offer some commentary on the specifics at this time?
Ayodhya dispute - Wikipedia
Sure, I never hesitate. But Wikipedia generally does a good job.
Babri Masjid - Wikipedia, Demolition of the Babri Masjid - Wikipedia, Vishnu Hari inscription - Wikipedia, Ayodhya Inscription of Dhana - Wikipedia, Ayodhya firing incident - Wikipedia and a nice photograph of the Ayodhya Junction Railway Station. :D

That is a hybrid cow. Native cows do not have these white patches.

Vinayaka, I hope that commonsense will prevail, the government has taken all precautions. The 230 million people of Uttar Pradesh are under an order which bars an assembly of more than five people (Code 144). But one never knows about the people influenced by various terrorist outfits and ISI of Pakistan. They will see the decision if it goes for Hindus as an opportunity to create trouble.

GOOD NEWS FOR HINDUS

SUPREME COURT OKAYS CONSTRUCTION OF RAMA TEMPLE IN AYODHYA

MUSLIMS TO GET 5 ACRE LAND FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A MOSQUE (in lieu of 0.9 acre at the old spot)

One thing is greatly satisfying, and that is that it was a unanimous decision by the court and the Muslim judge, S. Abdul Nazeer concurred with it.
Really, there was no other way out, and Supreme Court has removed a long-festering sore or the problem would have vitiated the atmosphere all the time. A very sane judgment. Kudos.

JUSTICE S. ABDUL NAZEER: Elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 17 February, 2017, Nazeer enrolled as an advocate in 1983. Nazeer practised in the high court of Karnataka. He was appointed as Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court on May 12, 2003 and as a permanent judge on 24 September, 2004.

Note: There are a few more sores. Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Krishna Janmabhoomi and from my side Alai Mosque near Kutub Minar in Delhi (Alauddin Khilji destroyed 27 temples and used the material to contruct the mosque). IMHO, Government should bring a law to settle such cases.
