Babies and Heaven

No one can answer that question because no one knows for sure.

As a matter of fact, no one knows for sure what really happens to you when you die, other than your body ceases to function.

If a baby dies before being born for whatever reason, does it go to Heaven?

As you're an atheist, I have to assume you're not asking because your curious about babies and a heaven that doesn't exist.

What is your point in asking this question?

My point is that any person who thinks that a baby who dies goes to Heaven cannot logically be against abortion.

My understanding is that it is referring to physical bodies only, and a person's spirit does go to Heaven. Or are you suggesting that no one ever goes to heaven?

By this logic, infanticide would be an acceptable practice. As would mass murdering Christians.

After all, they go to Heaven.:sarcastic

That's 98.4% rambling nonsense.

So, by that ramble he cannot logically be against killing a baby right after birth either.

Apparently valuing (potential) human life isn't logical enough for some people.

On my more misanthropic days, I'm one of them... :run:

Jesus certainly didnt believe that anyone had gone to heaven... so thats what i believe, yes.

People return to dust when they die and the spirit (which is not a conscious part of man) returns to God. The spirit is simply the invisible life force... its a force given by God and the same force returns to God when the person dies.

This question is unanswerable and only we can enjoy asking such questions but we cannot arrive at the truth we want to know
