So if I follow your thinking you would be okay if we exterminate all domesticated animals and only allow feral critters?

All I'm saying is, if we care about them remaining alive, then yes, we are beholden to take care of them. Alternatively, let them all loose. Those that are fit to survive, do, those hat aren't, don't. The various ecosystems of the Earth will take care of the outcome... whatever that may be. That it may be some "inconvenience" to us is nearly moot... as I said, we're to blame in the first place.

Your stance is kind of like an alcoholic who gets to his state of addiction, harming himself and very likely those around him... then, knowing he faces withdrawal if he tries to quit and better his condition, he throws up his hands saying "Well... if I start quitting the withdrawal will have me feeling worse off than I am now... so bottoms up!"

It would be kinder to put bullets into their brains instead of letting them loose in a hostile environment where they will have very little chance of survival. Why don't we simply keep killing cows that are going to die anyway and feed them to our little friends?
