I believe that the first 3 1/2 year period of the 7 year tribulation started in the fall of 2005, with the arrival of so many devastating hurricanes in the south. The second 3 1/2 year period will be much more devastating than the first 3 1/2 year period. The second half will be worse because many of us God fearing Christians will be taken off the earth. Satan and the anti-Christ will then begin to excersice more and more of their evil powers over the earth and it's inhabitants.

We are in the final 7 years, spoken of by Daniel, which is the "great tribulation," which I believe began in the fall of 2005, (when the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad became president of Iran), and will continue until the fall of 2012.

I believe in a mid-tribulation resurrection, or rapture, of Christ's faithful and obedient followers.

True, I bumped it up one year, after doing some more research, since posting that.

It could have started in the fall of 2005, I don't know for sure, only Jesus does, he may have delayed it one year, and his second coming as well.

I believe that the fall of 2006 was the BEGINNING of the 7 year tribulation.

I've said this before, in this thead, we cannot predict Jesus, no one can.

I can only suggest a POSSIBLE time frame, based on what we see happening in the world, which Daniel and other prophets and Jesus told us to look for.

It's weird, I was just thinking about this today.

True, few Christians will be taken, in the first resurrection, so not much will change, life will go on, for those left on earth.

There will also be a SECOND resurrection, because many more will turn to Jesus Christ, with time, as things on earth become more intense.

But the events surrounding these two resurrections will be far from unnoticable.

Again, this is a POSSIBLE time frame of the 7 year tribulation period

That is EXACTLY my point - and because he is so intelligent, I am sure he has experienced moments of great fear when that idea tries to crowd into his head. I'm sure he has to sometimes use great willpower to try to push it away in order to go back into a room full of reporters or politicians.
