Bedtime Rituals

At 8:30, the bedtime ritual begins here.

The young War Lord takes his Abilify and Clonidine. At 9:30, he takes his melatonin. At 10, we both go lay down, and I tell him stories of random stuff family members did a long time ago(many who died before he was born). Provided all has gone well, and there's no mental health fits, he nods off within 15 minutes to an hour. (If there's a mental health issue, that's another rodeo.) Then I go downstairs and sit in my chair and try to unwind mentally so I can go to bed peacefully(and then I go crash).

What do you do?
I flirt with Boss, and she says 'No'. Then I cry myself to sleep.

During our nighttime TV watching I sometimes practice going to sleep by nodding off. After that I'll take a shower often but not every day. After that a few POGO games then meditation. I'll make sure the doors are locked, set out dishes for breakfast, add some 1/2 pill melatonin to the nightstand, put out bedclothes, get the heating pad out and set to low and decide which side I'll start the night on. Finally I have a repeating fantasy script I'll decide to work on. Will it be medieval, spaceships and castles or something else - something to focus my mind on that I don't really get excited over.
