i beleive what i do because i take a physical part in it, therefore it is easy for me to believe 100% in it. and the gods visit me in my trances

"What on Earth makes you think that ?"

What? He loves me? Why can't I decide what God thinks of me? He sure hasn't told me any differently. I could even say he's sexually attracted to me. I could try to describe the statement, "God hates me, yet I follow many of his teachings anyway." for a few pages. So, quite frankly, I'm not going to explain.

"I use the statement " I believe..." on places like this cause if you say " i know..." you get moaned at"

Actually, that's a good point. However, getting moaned at is a small price to pay to express what's true. If it's not true you should accept that for yourself. I'm saddened that you don't think I care about what you have to say.

"I can use the word 'believe' for something I have plenty of evidence for."

Sure, anyone can use it for anything they want.

BFD_Zayl that doesn't sound like belief it sounds like it's truth from your perspective. I don't know why you don't state it as fact if you trully see gods in trances. I *could* place belief in it because I don't play any physical part in it. But what would be the point in me believing in something I have no evidence for but your word?

it is the truth for me, others may not see it as such. i say "i beleive" because i do not want to seem like i am pushing my values on other by saying "i know for a fact..."

Belief
1.something believed; an opinion or conviction: a belief that the earth is flat. 2.confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof: a statement unworthy of belief.

Blah
1.nonsense; rubbish: What they say is blah.

Belief has absolutely no scientific backing or evidence to suggest it's actual relevance in deciding anything. It's completely fabricated and arbitrary evidence to back theories and ideas that, although may seem great by themselves, are only social ideas and aren't solid laws.

What's the point in believing tomarrow will come? Either it will or it wont. You're belief that it will happen has no effect on whether it will or not.

What's the point in believing in God?
If he's there than those social ideas that you probably would have practiced anyway will be rewarded. If not, then you're the better person.

Why base you're life on belief? Think about every time you state, "I believe..." and you'll find you have no scientific reason to believe in it and if there is then why are you stating it as a belief?

I don't understand the world.
Belief is an all too common practice in every facet of life,it is seldom said that what we believe is only a state of mind unless it is practiced.
But yet belief is so over rated ,at least on it's own.
I believe in my car ,I believe in my house and my bank and my wife etc.
On it's own it's just a concept, a thought, but we seldom fully define it ,at least when it comes to God.
If I believe in my wife ,then I must take it to the next step and trust her, rely on her word and have faith that what she says is true,I must have full confidence in her and what she tells me or what impression she leaves me,character, integrity, honesty.
Belief in God means to trust ,rely, have confidence in ,His word his persons, his message etc.
So belief on it's own is futile, belief is so much more ,what one says when they say they believe in God is ,I believe He is what he says He is,He can and will do what he says he will do.His words are reliable and applicable.
Belief is on it's own ,empty, confession is the expression of such a belief and it is made on to salvation.
Jesus says'if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the grave you are saved and received by God as His own
