I have taken this quiz three times and all three times it told me I was 100% Unitarian Universalist. Funny thing is, I joined my local Unitarian congregation. Belief-o-Matic doesn't quite get me though, because while I have a lot of beliefs, they aren't anything mainstream, by far. Pan-apotheosis, the combination of transhumanist and pantheist thoughts, is the central dogma of everything I believe in and everything I believe in revolves around that belief. I kept saying, "None of the above" because of this. Unitarianism is the religion of the spiritually leftover, but they'll never have a sermon expressing and advocating pan-apotheosis.

I don't like that: "Or, not sure. Or, not important" is at the bottom of many of the answers which I believe are true. It kind of makes it seem like my views and beliefs are thoughtless. I also wish some of them, like the abortion one, had more options. My feelings on abortion are neither, "Do it if you want to no matter what," nor "Never do it no matter what." It's a complicated issue. I didn't want to say I was neutral on the issue either...

Anyway, here's what it said:
100% Secular Humanism
88% Unitarian Universalism
81% Atheism
75% Liberal Quakerism
68% Theravada Buddhism
63% Taoism
56% Liberal Christian Portestantism
46% Sikhism
39% Mahayana Buddhism
39% Reformed Judaism
38% Neo-Paganism
37%Orthodox Quakerism
36% Jainism
35% New Age
32% Scientology
30% Bahá'í Faith
25% Church of Christ, Scientist
24% New Thought
24% Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
23% Seventh-day Adventists
21% Hinduism
17%Conservative Christian Protestant
12% Islam
12% Orthodox Judaism
12% Eastern Orthodox Christianity
12% Roman Catholicism
10% Jahovah's Witnesses

I wonder what I answered to make me not as atheist as I thought I was.. I always assumed not believing in any sort of god at all made me 100% atheist...

Most religious are quite black and white with the issue though.

Most secular humanists, including myself, are atheists. I like the term humanist ... it says you're standing up for humanity. Atheism just means you don't believe in something. If somebody out there asked you. "Do you believe our solar system as a thousand planets?" And you said. "No" would it really tells as anything about yourself? Being an atheist or a-thousand-planets-ist, doesn't really mean anything.

When I took the quiz it told me I was a Secular Humanist. I guess that pretty well fits what my beliefs are at this point in time. I am more of a Seeker than anything though.

Wow, didn't know this still got replies. Also a better test can be found here:

http://www.selectsmart.com/RELIGION/#myreligion

They don't ask for your email address. Plus they have some other tests, like what sort of atheist you are (the very top asks you what you want out of the test).
With this test and today's mood of being totally sick of politics, and wanting any trace of politics removed from religion yielded these results today. I've never scored 100% Jainism before!

1. Jainism (100%)
2. Mahayana Buddhism (93%)

Nine months later, I'm still 98% Jainism, but back to 100% Mahayana Buddhism.
A work in progress.

I'm surprised there's no thread about it already. Unless my search skills fail...

Well I understand that not everyone would want to share their results but for others it can be good fun or even a surprise of which results we get. Puts things into perspectives for seekers. Well, I'll start!

Post your top scores, I'll post my top 5!

Sikhism (100%)
Reform Judaism (95%)
Orthodox Judaism (88%)
Baha'i Faith (80%)
Unitarian Universalism (80%)

Well Islam isn't there... I'm not going to rule it out entirely but perhaps it's time to focus on other ones (Sikhism ).

Now you take the test! HERE!

Those are a strange mix. I don't see how anybody who gave consistent and sincere answers could have Unitarianism and Orthodox Judaism together in the top five. Bring that the former is ultra open and liberal in it's beliefs and the latter decidedly is not.
I'm guessing your answers were all over the place, and you're not sure what the hell you believe.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

thought I had taken this one before, but apparently not, as it was totally unfamiliar. That, or my memory of it has been erased...a significant chance of that...

Today, I am Unitarian-Universalist (8%)
Also:
8% Secular Humanism
7% Liberal Quakerism(Wait...What? There are conservative Quakers?)
7% Taoism
6% Neo-Paganism
6% New Age
5% Reformed Judaism
5% Mahayana Buddhism
5% Liberal Christian Protestantism
5% Theravada Buddhism

I'm just puzzled at how so many of you have such high percentages of various religions coexisting in your psyches.

Mine came out as "secular humanist", and even that was only 12%
The highest mesh philosophy was Unitarian Universalism, weighing in at only 10%.

Typical of you theist types. You simply cannot keep your thoughts pure. ;) :p

I didn't look too hard, but I doubt that there is any data on its validity and reliability, or any information on who developed this and how they went about it.

I do note, though, that the questions in the Belief-o-matic and the selectsmart versions are the same questions.

Well, note that it was posted in 2012, that's pretty long ago. I agree, I was all over the place because I was unsure and also I was desperate to believe something. Nowadays... Well, I'll post some new results now, well top 5 more specifically. I don't fancy posting the whole list and the results are too low anyway.

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%) <-- Ehh, it never interested me much.
2. Secular Humanism (93%) <-- Guess that one isn't at the top because I put in a few "Buddhist" answers. It probably counts as "supernatural" stuff even though I think what I selected isn't so.
3. Liberal Quakers - Religious Society of Friends (83%) <-- Don't know that much about it but from what I read, NOPE.
4. Theravada Buddhism (78%) <-- I like this. :D I guess the result isn't as high because I'm not sure what happens after death (didn't select rebirth) and maybe due to my liberal leanings. I know sometimes traditional Buddhism can be disapproving towards things like homosexuality and such.
5. Taoism (71%) <-- This eludes me to be honest. I don't really get this philosophy/religion.

@beenherebeforeagain @Daemon Sophic and @littlefire it seems like there's a bug, lots of comments saying the test isn't working properly and giving abnormally low results. The percentages are supposed to reflect the closest match, not whether it corresponds to all of your answers. I do advice though to use the selectsmart version instead. They originally made the test, they don't ask for email address plus they allow for multiple answers for some questions. In my opinion it's better for those reasons.
