Berlin demonstration and Corona

Below is my personal opinion. I can be wrong of course (I hope not), but this time I will know very soon.
(Some might see this as conspiracy. I would have placed it in "Conspiracy sub forum" if there was one)

Edit: Main point in this OP:
"Why did German government lie about the numbers of protesters"?
(Lying about such a thing is idiotic, as the lie is too obvious, all can easily see this)

I still have trust issues, when it comes to news about Corona virus. What to do? That is me. I don't easily believe blind, esp. Governments and news these days
In a way I was glad to read about 1 million people demonstrating in Berlin keeping a distance of 1 to 10 cm approximately; I like to have proof
Within a few weeks I expect 20-100 thousand new corona cases in Germany, if covid-19 thread is as bad as they make us believe

My guess: The Government will try to control what newspapers say and what tv will tell about Berlin the next few weeks

The organisers claim there were ca. 800 thousand till 1.3 million people demonstrating
The government claims there were ca. 17 thousand till 20 thousand people demonstrating

My first though (seeing the pictures of the huge crowd) was, the Government lies again.

This time it is quite easy to prove the Government lied, when I see the pictures in the spoiler. And the article claims the same

Some say 800.000, others say 1.3 million and again government says 20.000. I have been in crowds of 500 thousand to 1 million when in India, seeing these pictures can never be 20.000, this is much, much more. In short: the government claims one more lie. Why, I wonder? I think I understand; they rather downsize the number, otherwise they can never explain, why there are not 100.000 new corona cases in the next few weeks. But time will tell, this time very soon. I guess Government will have a hard time, to suppress and take out lots of YouTubes the coming time, who tell the truth.

That said:
As long as it is not proven that Corona is fake news, it's best to stick to distancing I think.
I always wash my hands before & after shopping. Not out of fear, but to set a good example

I do get the feeling that this Corona virus has been used to enforce new laws quickly by Governments

I am curious what others think about Corona, Berlin, news on in, fake news on it, Governments etc.

True. A friend of mine in Sweden also had this virus. She did not die of it (she was initiated in "ice man therapy", good immune system I guess)

I think (hope) the government makes the big national decisions, and the police just follow their orders

I can't say the government intentionally lied about the real numbers. I do believe since it's a new virus the government isn't "god" and probably listed more deaths from a compilation of things than specifically of the virus. That, and since it's a respiratory rather than alien disease, I wouldn't be surprised people do catch it. Treatment isn't alien and people do die from it just as people die from other serious illnesses especially if treatment is too late or there are other complications and risks factors involved. My mother let me know her friend had the coronavirus and she believed she had it too though I find its fear since she has asthma and they never gave her MRIs and other tests to confirm it. She still goes to work and does her thing and such; so, I honestly think it's fear. Another thing people just don't "wake up" the next day and be sick with a virus (any that I know of, no). It takes some time. So, the asymptomatic thing I believe is a bit off.

I do believe there is a virus going around. I don't believe it's as serious as people make it. I believe that because if it were a true emergency there wouldn't be politics around it. I do not believe our US president and government is "that" dumb to where they ignore an emergency insofar they refuse to force people to stay in their homes cause it's seen as terribly contagious. When I think of emergencies like this, I think of more like a plague not a illness many people don't have and/or recover from. We see deaths all the time but what about the things the virus is Not.

I don't believe China "involved" or any conspiracies behind it. I don't believe it's fake or anything like that. I don't believe half the politics about it and I don't care for the negative energy people have because of it.

As for berlin, I have no clue.

I have seen the news media reporting what others have claimed about it.
merely looking at the numbers shows it is not as deadly as a number of other contagions.
But the panic was not about the number of deaths.
The big concern was about the number of infected overwhelming the medical system.

Just as an observation, I noticed in predominantly white areas in Arizona, white people were all dining out in restaurants and shopping in stores without face masks. Now I see predominantly white Germany having huge protests about masks and not wearing them. Is this a real thing, or am I dreaming?

Yes i know of someone who died of coronavirus when they should have been recorded as dying of Alzheimer's. After all, she would have survived only another 6 to 8 years if covid 19 hadn't come along.

Here in Holland, I have seen maybe 8 with a mask all these month; one was myself once, when looking in the mirror

IF below link is not fake news, it seems that regular flu also has quite a high number of death worldwide. Corona maybe a little more.

We have quite a few in Holland who don't follow 1.5 meter masked instructions, so they don't care spreading
We had a few in the Dutch news, who on purpose spread it (spitting in other's face). Of course could be fake news
Indeed, spreading on purpose seems idotic, unless they have a vaccination ready or keep a masked 1.5 meter distance

And refuse to keep 1.5 meter distancing, washing hands and give up baby habit (fingers in mouth)

Usually people don't like to admit their errors, so if Corona would have originated in USA, I think USA might have tried to hide it too, or try to handle it first themselves, before alarming the whole world, don't you think? Not something to be proud of (if it's caused by unhygenic markets).
