A rant against the government. I'm certainly no fan of the government. Didn't hear the word capitalism once though.
The whole bit about the lobbyists. The problems with our country are not rocket science. The billionaires and CEOs pay the lobbyists to pass legislation creating cartels and monopolies in exchange for campaign financing. This allows the corporations to gouge the consumer by fixing the price for goods and services. Combine this with the price fixing of wages coming from data being published by the bureau of labor statistics and you get this curve:

In the past 50 years of me being political aware there has only been one 4-year period where the purchasing power of the dollar went up. Every other four year period the workers of this country are screwed with a giant red, white, and blue ramrod as George Carlin has stated.
The citizen making the median wage has practically zero political power bordering on slavery. The 1936 words of FDR are more true today than when he spoke them:
"An old English judge once said: 'Necessitous men are not free men.' Liberty requires opportunity to make a living - a living decent according to the standard of the time, a living which gives man not only enough to live by, but something to live for.
For too many of us the political equality we once had won was meaningless in the face of economic inequality.
A small group had concentrated into their own hands an almost complete control over other people's property, other people's money, other people's labor - other people's lives. For too many of us life was no longer free; liberty no longer real; men could no longer follow the pursuit of happiness.
Against economic tyranny such as this, the American citizen could appeal only to the organized power of government."
The problem is so far worse than anyone is willing to admit or imagine:
I would love for Bernie Sanders to become president. The problem is Bernie might win the popular vote but not Electoral College. Biden seems to be the best candidate with swing voters in red states. Trump's American style fascism scares the crap out of me. I would rather have Biden as president than see Bernie win the nomination. There's too much at stake. Although, I found the views Bernie conveys in this video to be spot on:
As I said I would love to see Sanders win. I agree with much of what he is saying in the Joe Rogan interview. The problem is what George Carlin was saying. The REAL owners of this country would NEVER allow Sanders to become president.
