Best... Hmmm. I'm honestly a fan of Subway. I have a thing for customizable sandwiches.

There is also a Little Caesars for when I'm feeling extra greasy.

Noodles is alright.

There's an abundance of vegetarian options. You're lucky to get even one at most fast food places, and then it will most certainly be sky high in price.

As a family of vegetarians, a drive through like Burger King can cost more than a sit down restaurant meal.

Fish and chips but it seems to be a dying art form. I have one local that is ok but there's a really good one about 40 minutes drive.

Oh really?
That sucks
I live near the coast so there’s like 50 fish and chip stores near me

I'm near the coast (western end of Port Stephens) but I don't have 50 stores of anything near near me lol. There's a few fish and chip shops around but most of them use frozen crap. Real ones that batter their own fresh fish are few and far between.

Ohh what’s Harvey’s?
Sorry I’m not American so my options might be rather limited in comparison
I’m Canadian. Not even sure if they have Harvey’s in the states.

Harvey’s is basically a burger place. They have an excellent veggie burger, and have had it since the 1980’s, so props for that.

Taco Bell. The only fast food place that has a decent vegetarian menu.

Locally: Kopp's, Culver's and Goldcoast.
Beyond: Subway and Burger King.

Kopp's and Culver's are your typical American-themed fast food restaurants with burgers and custard. Goldcoast is a sub sandwich shop.
I like Subway a lot given how customizable your food can be there, even if Goldcoast is probably better in most cases. And I prefer Burger King, I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to get decent fast food rather than going to McDonald's.

I haven't forgiven them for getting rid of the 7 layer burrito.

Though, we went to one in Tennessee that screwed up my Veggie Fiesta burrito and gave me a beef. We went back and asked for it to be corrected, and low and behold they produced a 7 layer.

It wasn't what I asked for, but I took it.

The Fiesta Veggie Burrito is what I usually order when I go there. Pretty good size burrito for only $2. Plus it has a decent amount of protein with the black beans.

Do they have the song and dance there where you have to order online to get a quesarito? I used to really like ordering that and substituting potatoes for meat, but due to the online thing that's in the past for me, too. I don't have a smartphone, and I've tried ordering from my home computer, but the order never goes through.

They don't give me an issue when I customize other things in the drive thru. I've never tried doing it with the quesarito, but I've replace beef on a Cheesy Gordita Crunch with either potatoes or black beans and they never gave me pushback. You can also customize if you order on the kiosk inside.

I've tried to order one at the window, and they told me no quesaritos other than online.

I had no idea there were kiosks. I haven't been inside since pre-Covid days. Maybe I'll see if I can do it on there.

Otherwise, our local one has always been excellent with vegetarian substitutions.

I just looked it up.

It's possible that it has to be ordered online because they removed it from their registers and they have no way to ring it up.
