Of the major chains, Arby's and Papa Johns have a couple of things that I like...there's a local place called Gyro Stop that is pretty good...Jolly Tamale, although Chadito's is also pretty good...

What’s Jolly Tamale (I’m assuming Mexican?)
And Chaditos?
I must confess that I’m quite jealous of Americas Mexican menu lol

In-n-Out because it's all fresh (except the shakes) and pretty good, and on the cheap side.
Del Taco cheaper and better than Taco Bell.
Popeyes, as I really like their blackened chicken strips and like to get those with mashed potatoes (must have Cajun Sparkle sprinkled on them) when I can get it on sale for a tasty meal that's not terribly bad for fast food.
Rallys/Checkers has great fries, but I'd rather get them from the grocery store to make at home so they're not as greasy.
Arbys I love their cheesesticks and dipping them in their au jus.
Amd then Subway because there's tons and tons of options and possibilities.

Tex-Mex is the Americanized/America-meets-Mexico cuisine. It's good, especially as it has more cheese than regular Mexican food.:D
There's none nearby, but in Fresno there's Chronic Tacos with the taco meat and then three different options for stuff to load your taco with. The "Gringo Option" is the one with cheese.:D

I don't consider pizza fast food, but my favorite is Mountain Mikes. It's pricey, but very worth it.
But Boston Pizza has an Iron Maiden pinball machine.

Fast food??? Oxymoron..

Really there is no fast food nearby there is a MacDonalds about 25km away.

A patisserie has two tables outside where you can pass the time of day with a coffee and pastries.

There is a pizza restaurant in the village bit i wouldn't call it fast. Very good but not fast.

Okay like the title suggests
What’s the best fast food outlet near you and why?
Please be nice to each other and let’s discuss yummy probably not great for us food lol

There are several nearby but for the best.. I would have to say "back yard burgers".
The burgers are great and their seasoned fries are awesome. Best fries of them all.

Second would be SubWay.
I either get a steak and mozzarella sub or teriyaki chicken and mozzarella sub.
Both on Italian herb and cheese bread.
And toasted.
Good stuff!

.
Oh nice
I do like subway
I’m a little more interested in this backyard grill place. I assume they do burgers and grilled meats?

There are a couple of pizza outlets near me. They're pretty good if not the best.

I used to love junk food a lot but lately I've developed a loss of taste and don't find them interesting anymore. Not sure if this has anything to do with my age.

There used to be a place a few towns over from me that did an amazing chicken burger. Fried chicken, pepperoni, jalapeno, chilli cheese and chilli sauce. Amazing.

Unfortunately those burgers are a thing of the past now. I don't buy meat anymore and the restaurant closed down after somebody died...

When i lived in Manchester it was swamped with mediocre fast food joints.

The only one i rated was in Sale... 1/2 hour drive but worth it. The Canadian Charcoal Pit. Specialised in fresh, made on the spot to order burgers. Cooked to your liking over an open charcoal fire with a range of condiments and sauces to satisfy even the most discerning fast food lover

Has it not been fire-bombed yet then?

Nope.. it's one if the most popular eateries in the area for some wierd reason.

Funny story, i was in Paris the first day MacDonalds opened there. Doors opened at 11:00 am, quite a large expectant crowd quing at each door (there were 2 doors on different streets at a junction). There came the sound of 2 tractors chugging through the traffic and bringing it to a stop.

They each reversed a trailer to one of the doors and tipped several tons of cow manure into the doorways before driving off.

That's what french beef farmers thought of this new fangled fast food idea.
