a false messiah, one of many, if you believe Jesus actually existed.ProfLogic said:Just keep trying... By the way I saw that in Judaism... Jesus is the false prophet. Any evidence on this?
ProfLogic said:What is the definition of the god's paradaise in the Quaran.. Is that the 70 virgins description? In the old days translation I always thought virgins are reflective of women.
Jerrell said:Those who actually know less than they think abd the Christian and Moslem God, say they are the same God.
The Attributes are totally diffrent, they do totally diffrent things.
The God of Christianity
1) He calls only Jewsih Prophets
2) He chose the Jewish Poeple
2) He has a Son
The God of Islam
1) He called a Pagan Arab
2)He chose the Arab People
3) He has no son
ProfLogic said:People have been debating who is right and wrong religion for ages. Holy wars had been staged due to the beliefs that people see in their holy books. Bible origin is much of a mystery and the Quaran can be traced to the original prophet. Could it be the same self proclaimed bible god that found a different set of individuals that is more worthy than the ancient Hebrews? The last time any sign of the self proclaimed bible god communication to the believers of the bible was during jesus' and the apostles time and the quaran was a believe 600 years after... Why can't it be the same self proclaimed bible god that decided to have a covenant with the Quaran's prophet?

for Judaism the figure of jesus is a non-issue, he doesn't matter to anything that has to do w/ Judaism.
ProfLogic said:If jesus did exist, it might actually make sense that he was punished since people believe he was a false prophet...during his time... are there any writings in Judaism that might support this?
jewscout said:he wasn't a false prophet
you could claim he was a false messiah
what supports this is that he never fulfilled the mission, from a traditional jewish perspective, of the role of Moshiach
from a jewish perspective, at best he was some poor jewish boy who ticked off Rome and was excuted like many other jewish boys of his time, at worst...he's a figment of someone's imagination. either way, he's a non-issue for us.

writer said:<53 Abraham the main source. Which means the OT and NT and Torah and Quaran came from the same self proclaimed god.>
The NT's fulfillment of the OT, as far as writings go. And of course duz not contradict it. The Quaran contradicts both OT and N; and, following them by 2,100-1,000 and 500 years respectively; and given the historical context of its creation; it's its own kind of counterfeit
<54 the Koran often refers to other Abrahamic prophets. Now, why would they talk about prophets of a God they don't believe in unless they're trying to denounce them?>
Becuz, in that way, it attempts to usurp them and their authority
<Muslims, Christians, and Jews all worship the same God.>
There's only one God. Which's not to say people are'ncapable of misrepresentin Him

ummm actually it doeswriter said:The NT's fulfillment of the OT, as far as writings go. And of course duz not contradict it.
jmoum said:Not only that, but the Koran often refers to other Abrahamic prophets. Now, why would they talk about prophets of a God they don't believe in unless they're trying to denounce them? The obvious answer is, they wouldn't. Therefore, Muslims, Christians, and Jews all worship the same God.
