Coincidence and the uncanny ability of the human mind to detect patterns in chaos.
Do you really find it surprising that a search containing the word "antichrist" would return a text with the word "antichrist" in it? There are only 3 times that the word is used, so you've got a one in 3 chance of it being the one that talks about little children. I'll take those odds any day.
I realize antichrist is plainly in the text, which makes it one chance in one of it coming up in any search, and your right the odds of this scripture coming up are one in three.
I've stated in the beginning this English Bible search is much less sophisticated than the Hebrew codes, which span over several books of the Old Testament and New Testament.
These English searches are contained within a single chapter, whereas the Hebrew codes span several books at a time, and have ELS distances, between rows, in the
thousands, and ELS distances of
1, going horizontally, verses
this search, which has no more than an ELS distance of
50, between rows, and
no ELS distances horizontally.
So basically there is an ELS distance, going vertically, in the
thousands (Hebrew) verses
50 (English); and, going horizontally,
1 (Hebrew) verses
zero (English).
Whether it's a legit Bible code search or not, at least it gets people to read the Bible.
These simple English BIble code searches help to educate people on how the more sophisticated Hebrew codes are constructed.
Edit: changed 10 to 50
