I recommend RTV & a new Bible gasket.
I recommend RTV & a new Bible gasket.
Is permatex acceptable or does it require going to the dealer for an oem gasket? Where do i find the make model and year? I dont see a door jamb. I did an internet search and nothing came up. Checked you tube nothing. Thus is frustrating now!

I've used Permatex.
It's good too.
But RTV was easier to spell.

I will try to do this as neutrally as possible. Eliminating bias. Opening Mind.

So, what do you think about this?

I am mainly interested in the fact that the pages were not at all damaged; not even the highlighter marks were ruined. Is there any way for that effect to be produced naturally?
I think it is terrific. These things do so
much to keep us reminded that religion=
brainless cult.

Do you personally believe it's a miracle from god?

Thanks for sharing.

I know these things are for real from my first hand experience.
I also know some people might use them to make money.

My gut tells me these people are genuine, I hope I am right.
BUT even if this is genuine now it can change into scam later.

If they don't ask money for the oil (to visit) then I see no problem.
Then all people can decide for themselves what they get out of this.

Peronally I do not believe it's a miracle from "god", it might be a miracle from "God"
"God" to me is "that something" that is beyond words described by other as "Almighty, Unknown, All Powerfull"
For me the "God concept" originates when contemplating the magnificence of/in this universe, giving a feeling "reverence, awe and wonder"

To Heaven and Back Again: Endless Flowing Oil from a Bible - Miracle or Make-Believe?

A few snippets ....

"A small prayer group met in a room in the back of a gift shop for five years: the Biblical meaning of the number five is grace. Oil started appearing on the walls of the prayer room. The group sought the Lord, asking what this sign means. The Lord told them that He would give them a sign of what was to come after Trump was elected".

"
The Miraculous Claim:

On January 27, 2017, oil appeared in Jerry’s Bible. It started in Psalms 27 and spread toward the Book of Revelation for several days. Once the oil saturated that part of the Bible, it appeared in Genesis and spread toward Psalms until the entire Bible was saturated. As the oil continued to flow from this 17 year old book, it was placed in a plastic bag. The oil was emptied into bigger and bigger containers until it was finally placed in a large plastic tub where it resides today.
Interesting points:
  • The oil never runs out.
  • The more it is given away, the more it flows.
  • They were told that it would stop flowing if they charged for it.
  • They were told not to market or advertise it".... .
..........
"Everyone in the Flowing Oil Ministry is quick to tell you that the Oil is not the healer, Jesus is. It isn’t magic oil, but there are many reported miracles associated with using this oil in a prayer of faith for healing. A few are:

  • Stage 3 and Stage 5 cancer instantly healed.
  • An arm broken in two places mended with no sign of a break.
  • Boils and skin issues cleared up.
  • Child who was hospitalized with a fever instantly healed".......
(I think by the time you end up reading the above link you'll get a good idea what it's all about. One thing for certain, like many of these fake Miracles Christians invent for various reasons, I will guarantee they will never ever let any real scientist or chemist closely look at it. I'm positive as to what would happen if they did.

They of course conveniently included the tried-and-true Fail-Safe notation to keep people hooked on this farce and unfalsifiable by its critics and Skeptics.)

Here.....

...."This phenomena continues to this day. I have noticed that the oily feeling lessons at times and becomes stronger at other times. After observing this for several weeks, it became clear that the oil always increases when I focus on God and lessons if I am distracted by what is around me"......

I figure from the above snippet that if a real scientist or chemist took this to a university to examine it , or monitor it at the gift shop itself, I would predict some strange phenomena would occur where it would stop producing oil entirely, and resume once it's scrutinizers and critics leave the premises and have gone out of sight. (Probably in time for the next delivery of oil to be picked up incognito and transported to the tub as supplies get low from distribution).

Magic god-oil turns to peanut oil if some
Secular chemist tries to "analyze" it.

No doubt it's a narcissistic attempt to put themselves on the map which is what a lot of Evangelistic religions do and of course to considerably increase their donation count which is likely the main gist of setting up something like this.

It's especially hilarious on how they're saying they're not advertising.

I prefer a more diplomatic description....
A wee bit'o cognitive disconnect & some leap
to believing things not so well evidenced.

Expressing that in Ameslan....

I'm actually interested in what kind of "oil" they are using. Shouldn't be hard to find out I would think. Come in, get filled with the "Holy Spirit" walk out, and go to the nearest university with your vial of oil. (While supplies last)

I pulled out of the mall today and in the parking spot there were some pages with text lying on the pavement right below where my engine would have been. I now wish I had gotten out to see what they were, because now I'm thinking my car might be leaking scripture.

You're more wicked than I'd realized.

For anybody here that had googled on this particular subject throughout the internet to see more on this, have you noticed the insane amount of Digital Millennium Copyright take down claims that have been brought out as if they don't want the dissenters and Skeptics spilling the beans? ... Er oil?

Its given away free
I know these things do happen and are real (I have an amulet oozing "stuff", but I never show others).
As long as it's free I give the group the benefit of the doubt; more so they were "told" not to charge and advertise
That at least feels genuine (unless they use it to evangelize, but that would go against instructions to not advertise)

Personally I would lean towards scam, illusions are getting very good
About 20 years ago I visited a place where a man had an "oozing amulet" (India). People were convincing, so I went one day. The man allowed me to have the amulet on my hand, but nothing appeared, then he came with a spoon, telling "aha there is a drop" and scooping the alleged drop away. I told him "please do not do that, till I see the drop myself". But he kept doing it, so I turned my back to him, so he could not scoop anymore. He got furious, and send me out.

Later on I heard that it was real in the beginning. But after some time it stopped in the afternoon (I was there in the afternoon). People still visited in the afternoon, so he kept the show going on, and obviously got angered when I found out he was "faking it". I never went back to double check in the morning (he would not have allowed me anyway I guess, I made him very angry. He used to be a criminal, got the amulet and stopped robbing, but when I turned my back on him he must have thought I would steal his amulet I guess).

I believe this story used to be true. But it was a good experience to see that easily these things get faked for whatever reason.

I am glad I have my own proof nowadays that these things are for real. Gives me a wonderful feeling of "awe and wonder". I used to be cynical, sarcastical, ironic but seeing this happen to myself in my house made those emotions vaporize. These are great "gifts" from the universe in my experience.
