Bibles have many versions

Why is there more than one bible? Because it has been translated many times. Plus groups have splintered off from the original church.

Which i telling the truth? Truth is subjective and personal. Personally, i would say none of them are telling the truth as i understand it.

Did all versions come from God? I don't see why not.

Was it rewritten by people to suit their needs? Yes, definately yes.
After reading your replies it is clear that we don't have orginal Bible today.

We have the Dead Sea Scrolls... which are older than the old testament's former guideline, and they are compatable with the majority of today's translations...

That sentence is pretty much meaningless.

What, precisely, is meant by "former guideline"? Which DSS witnesses "are compatable with the majority of today's translations"?
