Biden grants immunity to Saudi Prince from lawsuits over Khashoggi murder.

It is hard to say. It would be nigh impossible to prosecute him so perhaps a deal was made. He may turn over the people that followed his orders. Or perhaps he will order that Saudi Arabia ups its oil production. There could be several answers.

Should the prince have immunity or not and why was immunity granted?

If he was an enemy he wouldn't have immunity, but there is a reasonable legal case that, as head of state, he should.

In international law, heads of state are generally considered to have immunity from prosecution, except when you don't want them to :D

Because Putin is a murderous tyrant, while the people from the Promised Land of Oil deserve sainthood. The land of democracy, freedom of press and fundamental human rights.

Doublestandardism and incoherence makes the Democratic Party less credible than a 30 dollar bill.

My country will do anything to grant political asylum to Assange.
There are countless associations here who are all united to get him here.
It will be the response to this "dem" stance.

Biden administration says Saudi prince has immunity in Khashoggi killing lawsuit

Already it's created an outcry that money far outweighs justice. It seems "heads of state immunity applies"

Should the prince have immunity or not and why was immunity granted? Should heads of state immunity be abolished?
If murdering people in foreign countries for political reasons was a crime and persecuted relentlessly, the US would have a problem. Giving immunity to the Saud family is only consequential.

He'll still retain the mark of being a murderer though to many - even if political expediency means he is immune to prosecution.

Words came out of Biden's mouth calling the Saudi prince a pariah.
Turns out... it was just Biden running his mouth (as usual).

Immunity for heads of state is fine. Nothing prevents someone from being declared persona non grata.
