Biden says it is time to drop the filibuster rule:

I would say that anyone that thinks that there should be little to no condition on abortions would qualify as prochoice.

Even I could compromise by agreeing that there would be no elective abortions after 24 weeks. But of course to make that compromise the Hyde Amendment has to go. I do not think that any abortion needs to be allowed at any time.

So with that, how many people are prochoice in America?
Apparently not enough to pass legislation.

That is simply wrong. The Democrats are only poorly organized when it comes to this. There is a sizable number that say "any abortion at any time" and another sizable portion that would be willing to make some compromises.
So it isn’t really a question of lack of organization then. It is a question that they can’t agree on the particular terms. Gee, that agrees with what I have been saying.

No that is really a lack of organization. Thy need some stronger leadership. Biden is nice guy, but he is not a particularly strong leader. Though how knows, perhaps this will put some fire back into him.

By the way, why do you keep dodging a reasonable question? That is not a good sign.

If it were really true that most citizens truly wanted abortion legislation it would have happened. But it hasn’t.
It hasn't been necessary until the far right Christian extremists made this one of their agenda items.

Women died and fought for reproductive freedom, and they finally got it with the Roe decision. They didn't need laws until now with the Christian extremists that Republicans have placed on the court. I have a suspicion that all this judicial activism and political manipulation of the rules will cause a backlash against the GOP.

The GOP will need to work to get credibility and trust back from that majority of citizens at this point. They have gone too far, in the courts, in politics, and in Trump corruption. The American conservative deserves better.

These are the fruits sown by Conservatives over the last few decades, and they have consistently failed to trim out the bad fruits.

However, despite Biden's newly announced support for the filibuster carveout, his best bet in doing so would be next year -- and only if Democrats gain at least two Senate seats and hold the House of Representatives, an extremely tall task.
He might luck out here, it really depends how motivated folks are to vote after RvW.
