Thanks, Druidus, for the beautiful pictures! Like AL, I especially like the lines of the middle one. (Though the first would be the best choice for the 'attitude' I seem to be sporting at the moment, hehee!)
Very true about the new one having a bit of an edge, Sunstone! That's part of the reason I'm attracted to it... but also a reason to keep the current one, or go with another. I don't think of myself as very edge-y.

As usual, you bring up a very insightful point, Kreeden. The reason to change is there, even if it's a small one. Belldandy (my current avatar) is the anime character that I've been told I remind people of, which is part of the reason she's so dear to me. However, this version of Death (sometimes called 'the oldest sister', in the series) shares the qualities that I admire, but also has a bit more of the attitude of not being afraid to tell people what she wants to tell them.
Jensa, I love that picture! I haven't played the game yet, but I'm looking forward to finding out more about that character. My "RL" long name is Margaret (though I'm always called Meggie) and in Latin, that means 'pearl'. (Mind you, in French, it can mean 'Daisy'... language is so interesting!)
More good advice from the kind Captain! I don't know if I'll resize it or exactly what to do... Maybe I could find a picture of the same character, but in a square format. Decisions, decisions!

I understand and share your fondness for Neil Gaiman's Sandman in general and Death in particular. However, as fond as I am of Death and as fond as I am of you, I don't see you as her (or vice versa). You are simply too warm and kind for me to associate you with her. Cognitive dissonance!!
That said, do what you wish and I'm sure I'll get used to it. It can't be any worse than losing Deut.
