And, unfortunately, way too many in other places that would disagree. But we can go a bit further. Should it be a crime to 'insult' a religion? or religious beliefs? Rude? Sure! A crime? That's another thing.

The whole brexit story looks as if England is heading towards disaster from an outsiders perspective. I'm from New Zealand with English ancestors so I really hope your country's leaders can find what is best for everyone.

The UK is not just England you know. It comprises Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well. I live in Wales, I am not Welsh, nor was I born in the UK, although I am British.

I'm not sure how human creations "don't exist in reality" either, but that's probably neither here nor there with respect to the main topic of this thread.

It is interesting that nowadays blasphemy is accepted, but if you deny climate change, say something against homosexuality, don’t accept feminism, or are critical to unlawful immigration, it is like you would be guilty to blasphemy. Can’t avoid to think that modern day god is the “liberalism” that accepts all kind of injustice, but not reason, truth or justice.

The blasphemy law was repealed in England & Wales in 2008. Unfortunately one still exists in Scottish law and the Scottish Government is really dragging its heels about repealing it.

As long as you don't incite crimes, provoke or cause public disorder or cause a breach of the peace, why, wear your tonsils out, but you must expect to hear things about yourself in return.

There is no law against speaking out against any of those things. But, as the addage goes, freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences. If you were an outspoken atheist you would never be able to be president in the US, for example. Not because there's a law against it, but you would be voted right out of the pool. Is that reasonable or just? No, but it is the world we live in.

Just because you can say something, doesn't mean your intelligent. Just keep that in mind. People will say anything about anything, is there any line between anything?
If there isn't one though, it could get quite dangerous. (I'm sure you're aware what saying anything you like does in the political world)
