BLM is a hate group

I also concur, but in the context of the current state of politics, throwing this out as a weapon when "black lives matter" is stated is like telling someone mourning the loss of a loved one "all deaths matter."

It's just a conspiracy theory, like Qanon, that black people are intentionally targeted, or that their lives are perceived as less.

Unfortunately (or fortunately it depends on your perspective), racial prejudices against black people in the US by law enforcement has been studied by academics for decades and has been quantified on several points. There is an entire field in sociology, law and history dedicated to it. Disproportionate use of force against black suspect, bias and unfair treatment by the law towards them and even political participation repression efforts have all been observed, studied, quantified and analysed. In fact there is so much data on it in the US that denial of racism toward black people by the police and the justice system could be considered conspirational thinking.

There's only one thing missing from "all that data"... What's missing is *concrete evidence* in the form of admittance by individuals working in government.

What makes no sense about this BLM conspiracy theory, is that they expect people to believe that all these shootings of black people, all around the country by individuals who have never met, are somehow related... When in fact, they're all isolated, indivudual instances that are not related, and just happen to be so by chance.

All your data has is "statistics" that show blacks being targeted more proportionately than whites... But you cannot prove with any evidence that this conspiracy theory has not occured by mere chance, rather than racism. o_O

Yeah they are. More white people are murdered by the government than black people every year.
The post you responded to illustrates the corruption
of information caused by media bias, ie, they report
race only when blacks are the victim. It gives a false
impression that only blacks are being killed.
This causes several problems...
- People don't pursue general police reforms because
they believe that white racism is the sole problem.
- Racism against whites.
- Race based hatred of cops.

I see your point, but at the same time, this unfortunately shows the weakness of humanity in people allowing themselves to be manipulated.

From now on, I won't be able to see any difference between BLM and Qanon... Both being groups rooted in conspiracy theory.

Except that there's more evidence for police targeting black folks than that there's a secret cabal of Satanic pedophiles being hunted by Donald Trump.

There's no evidence. There are only statistics, which may just as easily have occured by chance as racism... It takes a *conspiracy theory* to make that jump from chance to racism.

...And that's what BLM represents. It represents the conspiracy theory as a group of conspiracy theorists.

so what?
I mean, there is more evidence of police targeting blacks than there is for creationism.

Again, so what?

...Because they're vandalizing Catholic churches now. Which means they've gone off the deep end, and deserve no respect from anyone.

I've been reading about pro Trump demonstrations that have been ripping down BLM posters from Churches.

But more interestingly a group of WomenforTrump have arranged a big TrumpMarch in Washington this coming Wednesday. Apparently the Parks management have not issued a licence for this march, and an outfit called the Proud Boys wants to attend as well. President Trump is reported to have shown lots of interest in this march.

So you can bet your boots that the press is going to be covering this march and presumably everybody is going to be so civilised, calm and reasonable during it.

We are going to find out, eh?

Those morons who think Trump won the election are also conspiracy theorists. Like religious zealots, they should be watched and everyone should know if they start to act goofy.

Statistics, with video evidence, court rulings, historical and cultural significance, and clear examples of racism in the public and groups based around white supremacy far outweigh the evidence that Trump is secretly hunting a cabal of Satanic pedophiles.

We actually have that. We have a senator on tape during the Romney POTUS run. We have two former POTUS claiming it (Nixon and Reagan). We have a hard drive from a major Republican political organiser schemes. We have the books on 'superpredators" from both Clintons. We have dozens of comments and messages from State representatives over about a century. We have the report of several comission on police violence and racism that dates back from the Harlem race riots of the 20's up those of Ferguson in 2015. We have dozens of court rulllings on racial profiling. That's those I can recount on top of my head and I am far from being a specialist in the field. Just ask a professor of African American studies and they can enlighten you. They are the experts on the domain afterall.

It would defy the laws of statistical proportions. The higher the sample the less chance has an impact on statistics. You can't claim the "beginners luck effect" when numbers are in the tens of thousands.

When you can show me the evidence, rather than assuring me it exists, then I'll take it seriously.

Just google it. It's all accessible and public information (okay some lengthier analysis will be in books and scientific journals which are paywalled). Of course, if you want it ALL, It's hundreds of pages to read. Here is one snippet you can read about the racist motivations behind Nixon's war on drugs and another recording of him and Reagan calling black people monkeys and the like, showing their deep racism.
