Actually, the evidence indicates that it is safe.
Some clown on the intertubes claiming that it causes autism gets more 'respect' than actually competent people that can understand the science. That is in large part due to the spreading stupidity of humanity. Learning and understanding is hard. Regurgitating crap you see on social media or some right-wing YouTube channel or some conspiracy site and insisting it is true is a sign of the times.
