Yeah, I get goosebumps from watching the trailer, too.

I was a little peeved that we had to put up with Jar Jar in Episode 2, also. Couldn't he have gotten destroyed by a little battle droid in Ep. 1??!?

And I was really miffed to see Qui-Gon Jinn get it. Liam Neeson was an awesome Jedi!!!

I can't wait for Revenge to come out, though! More Jedi/Sith battles!!! More Force powers!!! More lightsabers!!!! More Natalie Portman!!!!!! :woohoo:

It's true, Liam Neeson was a great Jedi. Much better than Ewan McGregor I must say. And I think they could have gotten a better guy than Hayden Christensen. But thats ok, atleast Ian McDiarmid is still Lord Sidious. Your right feathers about the title, Luke Skywalkers original name was Luke Starkiller, glad he went with Skywalker though. Another cool tidbit, "Vader" is dutch for father.

Oooo, I didn't know that. Of course, it makes sense when I look at it, but sometimes you associate a name with a character so much (like Vader) you don't even think to consider it.

I wonder if Darth Mader would have been as frightening... (Or would it be Matter... I have no ear for language.)

In the 1980s an article in Starlog magazine claimed that Lucas got Darth Vader from dark invader.And the original story called for stormtroopers to carry lightsabers instead of blasters.Han Solo was to be a lizard /fish like being and chewbacca was to be female.(I'm geeking out and I'm off topic,sorry)

I think you're right about the Dark Invader thing, but I think Vader being the dutch word for father is what made him think about turning him into lukes father. I don't remember the stormtroopers having lightsabers, when Lucas did his original concpet ideas for jedis they had samurai swords. Which of course turned into lightsabers, cuz I think he wanted to have a "new versus old" concept. Since he was battling the big movie companies, he kinda stuffed that in there. So the jedis were the old samurais, and the storm troopers were the new gun slingers. I dunno if Chewie was supposed to be female, but he was supposed to be much smaller. Like a big dog. He actually based it after his dog Indiana, but we all know where the name went.
