So what you're saying is, by supporting rights, liberty, equality, and justice, they triggered bigoted authoritarian snowflakes? Are you suggesting that Americans should forgo intelligence and integrity just to appease backward, backwater bumpkins?

And what is "woke" other than a lazy pejorative for anything that conservatives either don't like or understand? When used in that context unironically, it doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. It originally meant an awareness of social injustice - that's all. Now why would anyone be bothered by that unless they were the ones perpetrating said injustice? And "socialist"?
