My point is that the new cabinet will ensure peace and diplomacy, and the warmongers are unleashing their henchmen so they intimidate the appointees.

Putin is the one who is waging war by starting and continuing an unprovoked invasion. So he and his supporters/apologists are the warmongers, not the victims fighting to defend their land, lives, and liberty. I mean look at your track record: Jan. 6, trying to kidnap Gov. Whitmer, Kyle Rittenhouse (not just for shooting up a protest, but being embraced as a darling by the MAGA crowd for shooting up a protest), Cliven Bundy's standoffs with the BLM, the Pizzagate guy, etc., etc.
Stochastic violence is one of the MAGA mob's favourite things.
Now... I think it's entirely possible that MAGA types weren't behind these threats, but considering the possibility that they did utter them is kinda like looking over at the neighbourhood pickpocket when someone's wallet goes missing.

And yes I admit that far right groups do exist and are more apt to cause fatalities; however both far right and far left extremist groups do exist. In addition in the past couple of years the vitriol of the left has far exceeded that on the right. When the airwaves are filled with the vitriol of the left media and senior members of the democrat party contributing, someone or many are going to beleive what they are saying and try to eliminate the threat. I blame the left for what is going on, maybe not directly but there is a cause and effect.
Any action taken against a member of the government is a terriost and Gitmo is open.
