I saw we doing a reading from the Avadhuta Gita...it's awesome :D
Meh, the avadhUta gItA and aShTAvakra gItA are too advaitic for my taste. I like the uddhava gItA from the bhAgavatapurANam much more, it's so much more devotional, lol.

"The Self is the sun shining in the sky,
The wind blowing in space; he is the fire
At the altar and in the home the guest;
He dwells in human beings, in gods, in truth,
And in the vast firmament; he is the fish
Born in water, the plant growing in earth,
The river flowing down the mountain.
For this Self is supreme!

(Katha Upanishad II.2.2)"

Namaste All,

I am sorry I haven't dropped in lately nor replied with my thoughts on the Mundaka Upanishad, one of my favorites, as some know I have had a couple of "keep me busy" mini-struggles of late that take my time in family and in the larger family of Hinduism, and any posting on Upanishad I take seriously and use any response carefully and want to avoid mistakes. Give me another week.

But just in the spiriit of things, from another Upanishad (see above!)...

Om Namah Sivaya
