"sigh", "Yawn"

Have you gone back into your bubble of depression?

If you have, Jeff has some good news that should cheer you up a bit.

After all the dire warnings from Remainers that the likes of the Nissan car-maker would leave these shores after Brexit, the reverse is actually occurring. Nissan has announced that it will be closing its operations in Barcelona Spain and consolidating in Sunderland UK. This will of course upset the 2,800 or so Nissan workers in Barcelona and it comes at the worst possible time - and they have been making their displeasure known with protests and tyre burning. Must be a big blow for the local community. But Nissan exists to make cars and make a profit while doing it. And last year it suffered a £5 billion loss - and that coupled with the likely outcome of the coronavirus pandemic has probably forced their hand.

Wow!

Hurrah - A benefit of Brexit - an existing firm hasn't yet left the UK - unlike Dyson, Aviva, Honda, Barclays, British Steel , etc, etc - oh and don't forget Somerset Capital Management - Rees-Mogg's consultancy.

Would you prefer the UK more if we were burning tyres in the streets as they do in EU countries?

There's time for that to happen if Cummings has his way

Once again, totally ignoring my point and changing the subject

Boris and Dominic are the dynamic duo that will put the UK back on the map.

One of their next big projects will be the restoration of one law for all with no more free passes for the Left and their hate crimes.

Maybe I am just a quick learner, but I soon realised that you cannot rely on getting your questions answered on here.
Yes, I've learned that while debating you on these forums.

The modus operandi of the Left is, it is not the severity of the crime that matters, it is who committed it and were they right wing. Right wing crimes are the only ones that count in there world.
Do you see this differently? Whose crimes "count" for you in the world?

Turning is into a Banana Republic is what you want? We are rapidly heading down that line; even you are talking about silencing dissenters.

If dissenters have a good case, they should be able to argue it without resorting to hate crimes.

Why did the EU get involved with a Chinese Lab?

That arch hypocrite, Sir Keir said in January that you should never turn on your staff then within a few short months he had totally changed his position.

from some of the comments –

Keir Starmer has so many faces, he can't recognise himself in a mirror.

I agree he also contradicts himself a lot could it be alzheimers

Selective memory problems there. He has back peddled on getting rid of the factions in his party. Wonder who they are? What a load of tripe they spew. Champagne socilaists. Wonder what they will say about Bertie Barnier and the goings on with China. Bet they defend him. God help us.

But I think Starmer has caught what Corbyn had: Corbyn 2018: "Shamima Begum should be allowed to return to the UK. She was only a 16 year old immature child when she joined ISIS. She cannot be held accountable for her actions at such a young age" Corbyn Nov 2019: "We the people demand 16 year olds be given the right to vote in the UK, they are responsible and free thinking young adults"

The media are very nasty and they want to stop Brexit. This is a witch hunt which will get worse the closer we get to December. They want rid of a Brexiteer Cabinet. The Civil Service are in close step with the media and EU

So what happened to your mantra "Free Speech"?????

Typical Far Right, free sppech is only so we can be racist, but doesn't apply to the centre and left.

Does anyone still listen to bumbling boris and his half hearted lies?

For all his life Boris has managed to blag his way out of any tricky situation. Half Flashman, half Billy Bunter, lies and half-truths have been his stock in trade. But in Starmer it is as if he has instinctively realised he has met his match. A power greater than himself. There was little of the prime minister’s familiar smirks, bluster and banter. Weirdly, he didn’t even really make much effort to put up a fight. Just a series of mumbled excuses that he didn’t expect to be believed.
