that ruwach is from god; which inhabits the temple of the body.

thus god on earth, in the earth.

you gotta let go of all our ghosts.

the kingdom of god is within you, behold the temple/tabernacle of god.

Rev 21:3 KJV And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

the fruit of the spirit is love. the result of the force is love realized.

may the force be with you

Ps 46:10 NIV He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earthly.”
Great scriptures :hugehug:

But what ghosts are you talking about?

Could everyone think about this. You know what physical birth means. A cell from a man and a cell from a woman join and form a new life. But that new being is not "born" until it leaves its mother's body. Why isn't spiritual birth the same? God's spirit joins with a human spirit to form a mew spiritual life. But that new spiritual being is not "born" until it leaves the human physical body. And it can't leave until the physical body dies. A person will be "born" spiritually when the physical person dies and the new spirit being leaves the body. Why should spiritual birth mean anything different from physical birth? Just because some so called "experts" or "religious" people think so? Remember, Jesus said that which is born of the spirit IS spirit. Not flesh and blood. I do not see any spirits walking around so the people I see must not yet be "born" spiritually.

Luke 23:46
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

works the same way as it did with adam.

god create this lump of clay and when the Spirit enters the body, when god breathes into that lump of clay, its becomes a living being.

Adam was not "born" either physically or spiritually. Adam became a living "soul". But that same word translated as "soul" can also mean animal or beast or creature. Nothing about a spirit and nothing about being "born". The subject here is "born of God". And that occurs when the spirit leaves the human body just like physical birth occurs when the new baby leaves the mother's body.

the spirit created heaven, earth, and everything in it. there was nothing made that wasn't make of god breathed, said let there be.

genesis literally means to beget, be born

Ecclesiastes 3:18
I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

John 21:4 KJV But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

the holy ghost is the spirit of love. the fruit of the Spirit is L-O-V-E. that is what makes it holy, sacred, divine

remember the height from which you've fallen? no one can go up to heaven except the son of man who came down from heaven.

Rev 2:4-Rev 2:5 KJV Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

I do not see what this has to do with the topic "born of God". No one but myself has explained when and how one is born of God. And no one has shown that I am wrong.

someone stroking their ego, or someone else's doesn't explain born of god.

based on 1 John someone either "knows god" or doesn't. belief isn't an option.

1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

so obviously two factors are omitted based on this scripture alone; a person doesn't have to idolize/worship jesus and you don't have to be christian. a person only has to have unconditional love, compassion for all

to know love is to know god. to know love and knowing god, one is born of love, or god.

that simple.

Does not sound like what Jesus told Nicodemus in the third chapter of John. But everyone is free to make up their own religion. Birth is a process. It does not happen in an instant or because you say or do something.

god is love. it doesn't say that god loves. jesus even said that the greatest commandment is to love. it doesn't get no more specific than that. so unless you are born of spirit and water, you are identifying with the flesh, the carnal, the worldly and not as . god is our father and our father is spirit and matter(water).

You still have not said how a person is "born" of God. I have said it happens when the spirit leaves the physical body just as physical birth occurs when the new life leaves the mother's body. Saying God is love has nothing to do with it but I guess that is the best you have because that is all you keep repeating.

there is no sin in loving unconditionally there is nothing greater. this is the whole of the law, this is God = to love.

this is what it is meant to be born of god = to love.

So spiritual "birth" takes place when a person first has love in their heart? What if that love changes? I am sure most mass murders had some kind of love at some point in their lives. Then something happened and they became murderers. They were still born of God? I mean almost everyone has some kind of love at some point in their lives. So almost everyone is born of God? I really think their is more to it than that. Why didn't Jesus just tell Nicodemus to have love in his heart if he wanted to be born of God? Birth is a process. Birth takes time. A physical child is not born because someone snaps their fingers or has good thoughts in their mind. Spiritual birth does not happen because a person has happy thought or love or lets someone sprinkle water or fairy dust on them.

understanding, the light within, insight, only comes with love. without love, or with hate, understanding does not come.

being double minded puts a person in conflict, doesn't make it unconditional love.

James 1:8
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

the awe of love is the beginning of understanding.

jesus said:

For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

Well, thanks for all your opinions. You never addressed the question of when and how is a person "born" of God. That was the original question of this thread and you never said anything about it. Having love for others is a great thing but has nothing to do with "birth". When you were born physically you know exactly when and how it happened. If you were born spiritually you should also know when and how it happened. I am sure Nicodemus had some love somewhere in his life but Jesus did not tell him that was all that was needed. So I guess you really don't know any more than what you keep repeating. Thanks, but I don't buy it.

when a person understands how unconditional love works, then they are born of god.

love under every condition; including and not exempt to one's enemies. i have told you a truth, there is no excuse for misunderstanding.

one is perfect when one is loving at all times, under all conditions.

love is perfect. love covers all sins. when sin is removed there is nothing left but love; which is god.

1 John 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
