Boston Bombing?

9/11 conspiracy rhetoric under a different title.
Oh and also :biglaugh:
I'm inclined to find it less funny, since the more extreme & violent Muslims might be angered
by this vicous conspiracy, & motivated to take revenge against more innocent people.

Note: I reference Muslims (even though other faiths have their nasty element too)
because this particular bombing & conspiracy theory relate directly to them.

What do you think?

Wow I didn't realize the FBI took there drills so seriously. A live staging during a marathon run.

Well around these parts they inform the public but maybe Boston is different.

Why is it so hard to belief that the government did it? I never understood this...

What about the other things for example that Muslims are targeted by Media outlets, that Americans are not protected by the constitution anymore, that drones are used inside the borders and so forth..

1. How do you think that 'the government' could convince dozens, if not hundreds, of people to take part in such a thing ?

2. Why does no-one ever crack and admit that they were either involved, or have been approached to take part in such a thing ?

3. Which government organisation do you think is in charge of false flag terrorism ? How does this organisation exist without ever being detected ?

Doris Lessing (who won a Nobel Prize for Literature) wrote a book called 'The Good Terrorist' . She did a lot of research for the book, including interviews with convicted terrorists in prison. What she learned from this was that terrorists who had been convinced to act by others felt serious remorse and anxiety about the harm they had caused. The actual organisers felt no remorse.

Given that, it is hard to imagine that all the people who would be involved in such an act would have no remorse, and remain silent.

What is your theory about how a government could organise such a thing, without anyone ever blowing the whistle ?

I got as far as 3:28 and then had to stop. Like with the 9/11 conspiracy theories there is just so much that does not makes sense. There is also the unfortunate reality that the people speaking in the video just don't seem especially bright. My guess is that it is only the "dim bulbs" that will think any of this is noteworthy.

Our government does many terrible things, & I readily accept this when there's convincing evidence.
But the idea that gov is behind the Boston bombing has only scurrilous 'evidence'.

Yes, the media are rough on Muslims, but that alone doesn't make them all innocent nor government always guilty.

No they won't Americans will never wake up at-least not the people who think that the government "protects them" and can't live without them.
Bombing our public events won't wake up Americans....rather, it sends them rushing to give up liberty for more security, as we saw in Boston.
Our government (like all) strikes a balance between protecting us & oppressing us, & many of us see the inadequacy of the former & the risks of the latter.

F0uad,
My mother was a full conspiracy nut. I understand most of what these people are saying and can actually see where they are coming from. Mom taught me evasive maneuvers because she thought US government was always following her, and she was just a house wife.

I am not so naive, and neither is most of the American populace. Our government has been behind many a coup. They have supplied rebels with weapons and other help that has made foreign governments topple.

I do believe that our government has been knowledgeable of many of the terrorist attacks that have happened against our citizens. However, "being knowledgeable of" and "participating in" are not the same acts.

Our government is very corrupt and dirty, but if such things actually happen then why has no one ever come out about it? Why is that there is so much physical evidence against the government for some dirty deeds, such as a wake of overthrown regimes and established puppet regimes, but for claims such as this there is nothing more than speculation and rantings?

I think it isn't hard for a person to believe the government did it, it doesn't change anything though.

I don't care who did it. But if it was Tamerlan and Dzhokar, then they should know, as well as many other Muslims who aspire to commit such acts, that it doesn't help the Ummah what so ever. If anything it makes it harder for Muslims in America, and further demonizes us. As well as demonizes the Ummah and makes it a lot harder to point out the wrongness of American Foreign policy which endorses killing innocent Muslims.

It makes me lose faith in humanity that such reasonableness is such a rarity among our species. But it seems the typical American cares nothing for facts, such as the fact that extremist/terrorist "Muslims" are a very small minority of the total global Muslim population, but facts be damned when that requires a brain that is actually capable of rational thinking.

You're not serious right? Just like how could Hitler convince a nation to take over the world. That's not possible or was it?
