I am not Clarence Thomas, just in case you're thinking that.
Nor am I Lumpy (Clarence) Rutherford from "Leave It To Beaver".
Of the two, if those were the only choices, I would have lumped you in wth Lumpy. But that is only because I find Clarence to be the fouler of the two.

I don't think cooking vegetarian is difficult. Or do you mean not knowing many meal options?
The latter. I have a lifetime of cooking with meat. There are flavors that are missing from a vegetarian diet.

Future generations may not have the choice. Meat consumption has probably peaked and as the population grows we will soon not be able to keep up with meat production.

Look into Indian and South-East Asian vegetarian cuisine. What they lack in umami, they make up with hundreds of spices.

Incorrect. "Domestic animals" are intelligent thinking beings. They do not only have needs. Anyone who has had more than a superficial, cursory relationship with them knows this.
So what do you think my chickens desire?
Left alone they peck and breed and roost.
Never saw a one of them do anything else.
I grew up with pigs and cows and chickens.
Never saw a one that wanted anything but the basics, food, sex in season and a place to sleep.

Keep some humans in a pen from birth. All they'll want is food, sex and somewhere to sleep. Unless you try to interact with them.

"Pigs are considered to be the fifth most intelligent animal in the world. Among the indicators of pigs’ intellectual abilities is the ways that they interact with each other and members of other species, their ability to display emotional contagion, their natural desire to maintain a clean living space, and their ability to feel pain and suffer."
