'Breathing in is worship' - I heard a Bishop say this today and I liked it. A lot.
What do you think?
Breathing in is worship if you spend every breath in obeying God and remembering Him.

If we get to re-define what each other's actions mean now, I think I'll go tell that bishop that washing one's hands is forsaking God.'Breathing in is worship' - I heard a Bishop say this today and I liked it. A lot.

The first answer that came to my mind was "tithing", but I doubt any church with a sense of self-preservation would go along with that.what is breathing out?
Thanks Peace,
I agree, to my mind, if I think about it, breathing in is an act of remembering God.
If we get to re-define what each other's actions mean now, I think I'll go tell that bishop that washing one's hands is forsaking God.
If he actually meant "my breathing in is worship", then I would encourage him to make himself clearer in future and to stop speaking for others.
Yes, but you asked a bunch of mostly non-C of I people for their opinions on the statement. He was a C of I Bishop speaking to a C of I group.
But you get my point, right? If one person can assert that some everyday routine action has theological implications for the person making it, then so can another.I imagine he wasn't trying to speak for any grouchy Canadian atheist with sparkling hands
