It's just cloth.
He just had a news conference justifying the Qu'ran burning because 'radical Muslims' burned churches and a hospital filled with Christians in BosniaNow that the mirror has been held up to pastor Jones and he sees how foolish other people think he is I think the event will be canceled but at the same time he will try to save face somehow.
Anyone taking bets?:tribal::tribal2:
"WBC burned the Koran once – and if you sissy brats of Doomed america bully Terry Jones and the Dove World Outreach Center until they change their plans to burn that blasphemous tripe called the Koran, then WBC will burn it (again), to clearly show you some things," the church announced in a news release this week.
Apparantly, Fred Phelp's Westboro Baptist "Church" is now planning going to burn the Koran, if the other Church calls it off:
I'm not too surprised, and, they have, apparantly, burned it before in Washington, where they were ignored (apparatly, they were ****** off with Jones getting all the attention that they never got). I hope they're ignored again, IMO, the media gave too much attention to Jones and his "Church".

K.A. Paul, a Christian evangelist who runs a ministry out of Houston, says he bought the ticket for Jones to fly out of Orlando and land around 10:15 p.m. in New York. Paul provided The Associated Press with a copy of the itinerary and flight confirmation number.

On Thursday, after receiving a telephone call from U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and claiming to have been assured that a planned mosque would be moved from near Ground Zero in New York City, Florida pastor Terry Jones said that the Koran-burning event would not be taking place.
The iman, Jones said -- incorrectly pronouncing the word imam, a Muslim cleric -- has agreed to move the mosque, we have agreed to cancel our event on Saturday, and on Saturday I will be flying up there.

Wouldn't be able to get a bonfire permit?
I honestly don't know what is wrong with some people. Don't they realize that by doing this they are going to outrage Muslims across the world and significantly increase the risk of violent incidents with Muslims of the more extreme variety? I mean, how would they feel if Muslims decided to start burning the Holy Bible?
thanks so much for you post , i guess the jews in the past suffered by the Nazi , I guess it the turn of the muslims nowThere is no excuse for those guys. Even if the Quran really were just extremist literature-- which it most certainly is not!-- bookburners are still the lowest of the low, barely above Nazis and child molesters. You don't burn books: you discuss your differences with them, you debate ideas, you make philosophical and literary arguments.
I said it elsewhere, and will do so again: Heinrich Heine said, Dort, wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man am Ende auch Menschen. ("Anywhere they burn books, they will ultimately burn people, also.")
If we all thought the way these people seem to, we would be judging Christianity by them, and burning the Bible because it was clearly the inspiration for hatred and bigots.
To me, this is just another horrible example of why fundamentalism is not only bad religion, it is inexcusable morally. Absolutism can and will inevitably be used to justify anything.
Fortunately, they are just a lunatic fringe group. They can be offensive as hell, but they have no power to hurt that we do not give them. I just hope that Americans can somehow make it clear to the Muslim world that these people are not representative of what America is supposed to be.
do you have a video or picture (an argument)?Radical Muslims burn bibles, American flags, effigies - and REAL PEOPLE - all the time.

You know, I do wonder what would happen if Christians responded in the same manner as Muslims if a Bible were being burned?
lol I told you, give me photos or video , you give articles !!!"words" ok
And if we supposed that it's true , it's forbiden for any muslim to burn the Bible , because it's contains the name of God , and his prophets .
God spare you from such a thing ever being true.
